Haha, yup. Update hit all the right spots:
- Invisible barriers around the map reduced in favor of a death countdown. Nother concern though, I hope it's not in campaign, I'd rather them have ridiculous invisible walls that people can glitch out off than have a mechanic that'll insure no one can explore the outside of maps.
- Invisible surfaces to smooth out the playing field...
- Went in depth description of both the needler and
needle rifle (need to find a quick nickname for this one BTW GAF)
They mentioned the grenades were more powerful but less plentiful. I'm concerned that it won't to be the case because most of the loadouts on the loadout screen showed 2 grenades at start and the maps have a similar grenade count as the Halo 3 maps. Would be cool if one of the custom gametype settings changed grenade damage seperat from the rest of the damage. Actually, it'd be neat if they could do something like that with all the elements of the sandbox (vehicle damage, AR damage, etc.).
Didn't even see that until you pointed it out. Next week should be interesting.
