I'm hoping to hop on the Halo 2 custom ride at the beginning. We should do at least one game on each map.

I'll fire up and make sure everything is downloaded in a few hours.

also, MLG FFA has <600 people right now. Ha ha oh wow.

Also thanks for the answers guys, I may do a all nighter today to play but definatly wanna get work done beforehand :lol 6 hours or so is probably for the best.

I just want to try the larger maps a few times, Terminal/ Containment etc I havent ever had large H2 games ever.

I am gonna leave my bro play now so I can stay on for a good bit later :p

Halo 2 used to be so awesome. It still is... but in such a weird way. I never played it online. Maybe that's why :p

Customs start around 8 pm EST, IIRC.

I'm in the same boat. The online play is new to me. Too bad I couldn't play on Xbox Live during the golden days.

I already have all the maps downloaded and ready to go. The Map Pack disc makes that pretty easy. I'll be on in a couple hours for customs. It'll bring back memories of the Golden Days of H2, when there was always a game with at least 10 people going on my college LAN.

So I entered a Halo 3 tournament thinking I wouldn't get a spot since it's a 32 player tournament.

Turns out there was a spot

Seriously, though, just have fun. You won't win so enjoy yourself and maybe make a few friends. Most tournaments I've been to have been parties where everyone has a controller. It's actually really fun. :D

:lol :lol I'm such an idiot... I thought the maps wouldn't download, I proceed to look for my Multiplayer DL disc that my cousin lost... then 2 hours later I go to delete the one map pack that download. What do I find... 11mbs free... what a dumb-dumb I am. So hopefully they will all dl by 8 or so tonight, so I can play with you guys!:D

Hahaha. You're welcome! Seriously, though, you'll probably be going up against people who are constantly scouring the net for tournaments to join. Tournament play is nothing like playing with your friends on Live. People employ bullshit tactics with perfect timing as you flounder about looking for a decent weapon. It's kind of awe-inspiring to get your ass kicked so efficiently, though. As long as your opponents and teammates are friendly, everything should turn out fine. :lol

I'll be missing tonight. I'm out of town. Hopefully I'll get in on Wednesday though.
