Can someone answer this?

Did I shoot the rocket out of the air this this clip?

It didn't explode in contact with the ground, it was clearly above ground level. It wasn't in response to the Warthog blowing up which happens before it nor the grenades which are thrown after it.

Only explanation I can see is that I luckily shot it out of the air.

Shishka how the hell is Doubles Epilogue fair? One team has a player spawn next to OS while his teammate spawns next to rocks. The other team both spawns next to Invis. Lameeeee.

Really hard to tell. The game could have lagged for a split second and showed the rocket exploding in mid-air even though it had already hit the ground and exploded. Then the game caught up and showed the explosion on the ground. Is that even possible? Probably not. Anyway, that's pretty cool if you shot it out of the air.

The Crytek teams needs to focus on pushing the standards for map editors on consoles by bringing their PC tools over and leave storytelling in video games in its dark and forgotten pit.

It's possible, I BR'd Thermite's rocket out of the air a while back. It's hard to tell from Dani's clip because it does lag a bit but it's definitely possible.

Even with all the details announced so far, there's a huge swath of information about the Beta not yet announced (playlists? saved film/screens feature? b.net integration? ideal player counts for maps? game types? etc.). That's one of them. ~3-4 weeks seems likely based on the Halo 3 Beta.

It probably hasn't been announced because it's not yet final, and we'll know closer to release.

Of course there is, by far my favorite part of Halo is being challenged to 1v1 by 12 year old kids. :lol

Though if you're going to leak something, wouldn't you want to leak more than a series of title screens, which are more easily faked? Color me dubious.

Pretty much, had a kid on my team yesterday while playing in double XP on Guardian that grabbed the carbine and every time he died he would go on bitching at people that he wants that gun when he is back and to not pick it up. :lol

I explained why he wouldnt be able to play it, he is using a jtag xbox, which while it can do some serious modding, it lacks the ability to do one thing that makes it (and the Halo 3 beta) unplayable. it can NOT alter things in real time, which in necessary to make it work.

Heh. I think my favorite betrayal story is when I drove off in a Mongoose on Vahalla to try to help the team get the flag, and my teammate stuck me because it was "his goose, bro." :lol

Ouch about the ban, but I guess its cool. I've actually been very happy with Bungie's release schedule for information, so I have no desire to see a leak really.

Thanks all for the basically comprehensive answer to the time frame of the beta. Hopefully it will be longer than 2 weeks (which it sounds like).

Its Youtube.

There is only one "Menu" that was posted on Youtube that was not fake and it was of the Alpha menu not the Beta.

From what I remember, he wasn't really paying attention to the Banshee debris after he shot it down. If you look very carefully, he (TGA) looks like he's about to switch back to his sniper when the debris hits him. I think he was aware of it, but wasn't expecting that piece of debris to kill him. The other dude wasn't paying attention, as you can see.
