$550 for the iPod and all six Potter books installed on it.

it should be noted that the "package" is the same price as buying a normal 20GB iPod and the Harry Potter collection off of itunes. They are individually $299 and $249 respectively. You get an instant code with the purchase that let's you download the collection immediately to itunes.

The Harry Potter books are also unabridged, which is certainly nice.

I didn't think you could get the 20GB iPod with the Hogwarts crest engraved unless you also bought the book collection?

you can't. I was just referring to the price being the same with no premium.

it's just too bad audible is still charging you $50 per book even though they don't have to manufacture and ship 20 CDs. :(

Yeah, that's ridiculous. But it's a small market, and I guess that's the price they feel the market will bear.

You also have to remember books pan out to several hours of voice recording.

5-7 hrs, not including breaks / retakes / pick ups, editing... all for niche distro.

didn't think about that. a good point I suppose.

can you burn audible.com to CDs by chance? would be redundant I know, just wondering.
