That song is now a Ford advertising jingle.Vieo said:Although, I don't think stuff like 'Push It' should even be considered rap.

Wow, that was incredibly stupid.Dreamfixx said:Women can't rap. It's just not in their nature. It's kind of like stand-up. When was the last time a female comedian (comedienne?) had you rolling?
Jean Grae is pretty good (technically). She could handle a few male mc's easily.Dreamfixx said:Well well look at all the friends I've made... maybe I should have clarified; I can't remember a female rapper that I thought was outstanding. I was speaking of my own experience and therefore made an unfair generalization. As for comedians, I think I'll stick to my original statement. Now chill out, losers.

And Missy Elliot (I love Rumor People! Very much!)
And MC Lyte. 10% Dis is just such a great track, and I keep waiting for an appropriate opening to yell "HIT ME WHYDONTCHA, HIT ME WHYDONTCHA!" It would probably be easier to just start conversations with "God damn ho here we go again."
Salt 'n Pepa don't make the list, because they started their career by doing an answer song to Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh. As far as I've heard, there was never a counter-response. If there was, someone tell me the track name and where to find it, and they get a date with Mike Works!
Canadian Psycho said:Before I lost all interest in rap circa 1997-1998, I had a couple of cds by the Conscious Daughters (ok Bay area g-funk type group). They had pretty decent flows and, all in all, are the only female group/artists in ANY genre I had a record from. I love my women in the sack, not in the cd rack.
mrkapawutzis said:I have to agree with this post. They were produced by Paris and dropped some raw shit. I'm surprised no ones mentioned HWA. Eazys attempt at trying to make a female version of his group. Rick James' daughter was in the group.
