Replace the launch price with $299 for the low-end model, add Uncharted 4 and you've got it.

Uncharted 4 will be a November 2014 release and show at VGAs. My prediction.

. I don't even know what happened, Halo 4 seem exellent and it sure got great reviews.Seems to me the XboxGAF is way more excited about the next gen racers than Halo. Wouldn't have seen this coming a few years ago.

I think the so called bombs will be sequels to ps3 games with no solid release dates and the price will be $599 again....sony have never been good with their launch Window software you will get 1-3 good games and the rest will be multiplat with a tbc for the rest.better off waiting for 6 months on both consoles imo.
Also ..why has nobody mentioned the fact that changing the ram at the last minute to specs that are not on any current home pc or console will mean it will make it out the door on time.i would not be surprised at all if this thing is huge/noisy and prone to crashing if it releases in its launch window and if it doesn't it will be because of qa or manufacturing issues....just being honest sony always have issues with the people who make their hardware.
Won't be buying a launch durango for that same reason even with an iron clad warranty

And you're right to an extent but depending on how they demonstrate/show off the games will determine how the fanbase really reacts. And knowing Square Enix and Sony, they'll do a hell of a job at getting the fanbase pumped up.

They already confirmed it won't be. 499 is the highest I see it being. I think it will be 399-449.

No offence but Sony have very evidently learnt alot from past launches, particularly the PS3. The new console has far more developer friendly architecture thanks to a brand new approach in design Philosophy.
Sony have stated $599 was a mistake and will not repeat it with the new console.
You seem overly negative with no real basis for anything you are saying. Look at how the PS4 was designed, rolled out during the PS meeting in February and read the interviews with Sony following that. They are approaching things very carefully and far more sensibly this time around.

As far as I'm aware, I heard that FFXV won't be the only SE-Sony showing. You can take this with grain of salt.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sony let Square Enix up on stage for 15 minutes to show that they "support" PlayStation. You know like what they did with EA a few E3's ago when EA showed off like 4 games on Sony's stage. And like Ubi last year with AC3 and FarCry 3.
Edit: Actually this makes me wonder, will Sony have just one massive E3 press conference or will they split up two press conferences. One for PS3/Vita and the other for PS4.
Or do you think the rumors are true and Sony will have an event in May so they can have some breathing room at E3 to announce things?
Yeah I mean the Other Announcements ones. I just dont see them putting Drive Club against GT6, it doesnt even make sense (considering it is on PS4 too). And I dont think Square is willing to have a main entry Final Fantasy as a launch title, unless the rumors of Sony co developing turn out to be true, then I can see them pushing it as one.
Hmmm, I think the SE relation with Sony is (and will be at E3) a much closer one than the examples you compared it to.
I think Sony still considers PS3 to be very important and will still dedicate some time to it and like last year, Vita will be noticeably absent
One approach I seem them doing is what they've been doing for the past few years. They might release info on PS3 titles in the lead up to E3; this allows them to free up time in talking about PS4.

The other announcements as I stated in my post were first year titles for 2014. Basically January to December the following year. The first 4 were the launch games from Sony.
As a side note I forgot about the Kingdom Hearts HD exclusive on PS3. With that in mind I agree that we may see another Square exclusive - KH3 (though I doubt it will release before 2016).
The PS4 is probably 8 or so months away and the PS Meeting was Sony's first PS4 announcement. They ONLY have 'megatons' to announce- good or bad.

There will be four sports titles.

Not really, they use to rule the smartphone market back with Windows Mobile, they believed iPhone was no threat and never tried to do any serious updates to WM, they then let these other companies leap frog them while making stupid PR statements about how amazing Windows Moblie was (it wasn't, Windows Mobile was almost always shit, we just didn't have much choice) and Windows Phone Mobile has been out since 2010 and still has yet to gain any significant traction from both users and developers.
MS just half asses everything they do. It's like physically painful to watch them nowadays, Surface will end up just like Zune HD. MS will have to get lucky and pray either Apple or Google fuck up royally somewhere and people migrate.

no basis...sony have a track record of promising everything and delivering nothing.....only have to look in the direction of the vita to see nothing has changed they didn't even have a physical console at the event so im sorry if that sounds negative but that's the facts.
Sony/ms and developer's can continue to give each other verbal reach arounds but until there is a physical box with the actual specs a price a launch date and a list of launch day games I will continue to ignore the pr crap most people lap up as great as it sounds because I have heard it all before.
I would really love it to all be true but I dont think it will be.

I have a feeling that it won't matter what Sony shows or does the consensus will be that the next Xbox is the one to get.
I mean Sony will probably show the better games and they'll appeal to us, the gamers. But, i think nextbox's appeal will be to everyone and therefore considered the better product.

lol..this sum'bitch is the owner of 4 fried 360s .....2 launch model ps3s (1 ylod) that had no games to play for 2 years and 1 psvita that has not been turned on for 6 months......should I mention I also have a wiiu as well...well the kids do...and it has not been turned on for weeks.

You think if I don't care about gaming id continue to buy consoles and games as I have done so for the past 25 years and its not the industries fault that I own a collection of consoles that have 1) broken 2) have had large game droughts 3) have no games 4) were promised to be the second coming of jesus at launch??
I would love for sony to come true on all their promises so far but they always screw it up....edit. ..road rash would be awesome.

I mean even after Call of Duty sank the entire genre I loved I still found a shit ton of games to play and enjoy, only Nintendo fans have experienced droughts that are actually existent, and not self imposed due to growing lack of interest in one's hobby. Maybe you should try something different, like....freestyle Motocross *shrugs*
I hear you. but keep in mind that the PS meeting was the first PS4 announcement. MS hadn't had theirs yet. It's not like all product info is released at once.
Hopefully, we'll get pricings and dates for both at E3 though I doubt it. MS and Sony must perform that dance longer.

PS4 has nothing but love for the vita. "Supposedly" all games will have remote play on the vita. Play some PS4 games while on the crapper.
