The graphics presentation is damn good, best on consoles till now, the colors & fidelity is best as you can get this days on 5y old hardware.
Specially face captures are damn good.
Combat is nothing to wright home about but everything else is AAA.

I can be ok with mediocre combat if a game does other things extremely well. AW2 works because the atmosphere is greatly enhanced by being able to explore large sections of its world freely. It wouldn't be a very good game if it was completely linear. HB2, outside of graphics, doesn't really impress me with anything it's doing, at least in the trailer. I really hope there are more open areas for the player to fully engage in the amazing looking world they've created

TBF brand warriors are on every gaming forum, but neogaf has pretty lax moderation in comparison to a lot of sites so you'll see a lot more of them hanging around here. I'm a Sony fan and think this thing looks incredible, the graphics are amongst the best I've seen, right up there with the best ND or Santa Monica could produce and with the realism that they're pushing it's easily surpassing anything I've played on my PS5, about time Xbox got a massive exclusive win, well I sincerely hope it's a win

Shit looks photo realistic.
The trailer isn't bad but the overall trajectory of this game since its announcement...it's just too much, especially for a studio like Ninja Theory.
I hope the game will have something more than the first at least. It must raise the bar higher but i doubt it. I'm expecting Hellblade 1 with better graphics.
edit : that being said now that i think about it, we've had few next gen games visually so the game is still relevant even 3 years after its announcement

Graphics look really impressive. Will be interesting to see how it plays, hopefully they stepped up the pacing just a bit from the original.
The one on one battles look particularly cool there with the way they have them setup with that blood like mist and the fire.

Been watching the trailer a couple of more times now. It's definitely up there on my most anticipated games, and it's based purely on the graphics and the cool art direction. I hope there isn't a severe downgrade when released and this footage here is "what you see is what you get". Ninja Theory raising the bar for next gen, it's almost (or the same) level of ND quality in terms of mo cap and realism. I'm blown away.

If they're just making "the same thing again but prettier" I can't see them achieving much with this. It'll be nothing more but OK, which is fine if that's their bar I guess.
But they really need to be pushing things forward imo. It's not an indie title anymore.
I enjoyed the first game a lot, so I really hope they focus on what's important (or at least what I consider to be important) with this one.

Bethesda's games are massive open worlds, this game is using Unreal 5 for a very specialized / stylized look.

Yeah, that's goofy. Naughty Dog games are closer to the structure popularized by games like MGS, Halo and Gears of War. Cutscene, arena with interesting combat and gameplay, rinse and repeat. I really like Hellblade, but the combat and enemy types are very limited in comparison.
That game is really popular around here, so I would think Hellblade II would be well liked.

A Bethesda sized RPG could not use an engine to look like this, because they would have to scale back all of the items and such in the world. By time tech is where a Bethesda sized games can look this good, then smaller games like this will look even better. It is just how the tech works.

That and the first game didn't champion the combat either, it was a means to an end to the presentation. If you're looking for a DMC style combat game, this isn't it.
