I'm getting owned over and over again by the 2nd form of the final boss. It's usually all 3 chars getting incaped.

I'm having to constantly revive people. Is there some sort of accessory that will prevent this cheapassedness?

Should I lvl up more?

I've got Fayt, Nel and Cliff as the party at about lvl 60 with standard equipment like mithril sword. I haven't learned how to updgrade weapons and whatnot.

synthesize "Survive on fury" to your weapons and a bunch of Orihilcon (sp?) ... im guessing your talking about the actual game end boss

Aye you need to go nuts with Synthesis on weapons. like 1500 minimum

Look in a FAQ and try to get guys with the highest "Alchemy" ranking. The one alchemist who lives near the dragon mountain area is one. And there's another with a really high rating, in Elicoor castle, but you need to synthesize the Philosopher's Stone to get to him. And that takes forever to get. Then, attempt to synthesize Orihalcon (it usually costs about 4000-4500 fol to make), save up money (it helps to fight a lot in Moonbase, and to have fol multipliers active), and synthesize a ton of Orihalcon, then add it to everyone's weapons. You'll get +500 attack and/or "survive on fury", which'll make the game a lot easier.

I bet the last boss without much crafting myself, it's totally doable but the last boss takes awhile. If you don't want to the crafting, set Cliff and Fate to Auto and control Nel. Spam the hell out of Flying Guillotine for the win. Then again, I think that's what I did. I can't recall how I bet the boss exactly but I do remember spamming that move in the original version of the game.

k, if you want to win this is what i did, my 3 chars were really low lvl and i did not have any good equipment or items. my strategy is basically, kill the first form with 3 characters and use that item that auto brings you back to life if you die but make sure you keep 10 for your main character.

I used Nel as my main character cause she had the most HP. i dont remember what skill it is, but theres a skill that i had with Nel, and any character can learn, if you stand still and have 100% so you can block, 4 little things go out and attack the main boss, have no idea what it was but it did some real damage. I believe you can only block one specific attack so you have to practice and just remember what attack you can block and what attack you can't block. That super attack he does where it becomes Black lava underneath you i have no idea what its called always killed me instantly so you have to learn where to stand, Like the corners to avoid the attack.

So i basically let my 2 other members die and just defend and run, repeat, and i beat the boss in no time. It may seem tedious but i couldnt beat the boss all out cause i never lvled up or anything.
