I've played 9 QM games with Dehaka in the past couple of days. 8-1. So good.

checked out l5 vs. mvp, the games seem to be such a distillation of vanilla meta played efficiently that I think current eu has a shot against korea
a lot can change between the next real intl tho

Boy had I fun in my last game. 1v3 as Murky vs a Tracer, a Li Ming and a Tass at lvl 16. Killed them all. They were playing poorly to be fair but it still felt good.

The gauntlet has been thrown! Though I only hit level 10 with him with you guys the other night, so I'm sure there's plenty of people better at him than me. That Cho swap was so funny though, love seeing interactions like that kind of freak out when it's trying to decide what to do.

I'm hoping this is the week we hear some news about the future of HOTS. They've been so quiet this year, something big must be coming

Or they're just slowing development down, but I hope that isn't the case.

The client didn't change since release but I think it's fine as it is for now considering how it was during alpha and beta. I think they'll probably time it for the one year mark since they've concentrated on improving gameplay more than anything as of late. It took them a while to release brawl mode so I wouldn't be holding my breath for that progression system.

Edit: Glad I subscribed to CORE podcast. That quiz game show at the end is hilarious and now I know why Millyweed wanted weiner picks.

You guys loving Nexepardy might be the strangest thing I've seen in the 4 incarnations of this thread. As OT GAF loves to say, "there really is a defense force for everything." I always feel like it's the cut rate/forced version of their usual banter about actual current topics myself.

I mean rehashing the news that I can read everywhere else is not really adding much to the conversation. Thinking about the game in another way even if it's not necessarily productive adds flavor I dunno. That skin description text caught me by surprise. I also only listened to one episode so far so it might sour after a while.

They don't just rehash the news verbatim, though, that's part of what makes their show so fun. They are (minus Beau) low level players and they approach it from that perspective. They are often misinformed or uninformed, but that kind of adds to the charm. I get a kick out of listen to them talk about the patch notes, whatever topic Scott starts the show with, etc etc.

All of that is more entertaining than the giggle fest that is Nexepardy for me.

And re: rehashing the news, is that not what you listen to a Heroes podcast for anyway? Like other than the current update/hero/meta, there's not a lot to talk about. I would assume most everyone listens to hear the thoughts (and sometimes hot takes) on those things as there are pretty much zero HOTS podcasts that provide actual actionable information that is accurate. THH believe they are too good for it and don't try, Kyle is equal parts overconfident and or misinformed, and the CORE guys are obviously coming at things from a "let's not take this so serious" perspective. The only thing to tune in for is the personalities and their takes on the current events.

None are perfect, but I don't listen to podcasts to stay informed, I'm there for entertainment and to hear about my favorite game. They're all good in their own ways. I like the personalities and fun segments they do.

I feel bad for not expanding much on my thoughts but scoobs summed it up pretty nicely. Since the game main answer is "It depends", might as well sample opinions from a bunch of places.

Edit: Speaking of feeling bad, I was bummed that I missed the 5 man train yesterday evening but how did that go for you guys ?
