Not really. I've read the spoiler and I think they are just going to remove any references to the next plot from episode 11. You know, just like we saw Hiro stranded in Japan back at the end of volume 1? If they just removed that, things will be fine and we can still see that when episode 12 returns to the screen.

I just hope everything is over by then.

I think that after reading the spoilers, the potential for awesome television is very high, like this stuff can easily dominate anything from Season 1, I just hope nothing is lost with it.

imbreeding? I doubt that. It is a family tree that spread. 400 years is a long time for genes to spread out. I mean technically we are all inbreeding but you cant look at it that way once it spreads that far.

8. Recycling Season 1 plotlines - Claire struggles to keep her secret hidden. West just wants her to be herself. Now they're keeping secrets from her dad. Sound familiar? Sure does. It's Season 1 all over again! Same plot different boy. Yawn. Hiro wants to help Kensei fufill his destiny just like Hiro wanted to fufill his own destiny last Season. Very similar plotline. And then of course we have Peter re-rediscovering his powers again just like he was all throughout Season 1. Isac is back from the grave with his "secret" series of paintings...oh god, I can't believe that did this. Once again it's all about Isac's paintings and "collecting them all" to presumably "save the world". Recycled plotlines.

At what moment did you realize Heroes had reached its peak and everything ahead was all downhill?

Well wouldn't all this lead to that 7% of the population in 2008 that isn't infected to being the people with the powers. They carry that gene that may be immune (Niki's current state may contradict that but the presence of Peter's mom doesn't) so 7% of the population has powers ... It would play into the original idea of the show of evolution.

I saw the Kensei thing coming. I had a feeling from early in the season that he was going to reappear in the present day, and it was pretty obvious in this episode from the moment he died a standard, ambiguous comic book villain "death" (big explosion + no body).

I have to agree that West is a pretty crappy character; D'Agosto wasn't bad in Rocket Science, but his performance here is just weak, though the poor writing doesn't help.
