Yeah, I had an inkling that was going to happen.Zalasta said:And please, everyone saw that Kensei = Adam thing coming right?

Zalasta said:Is that suppose to be a good thing? Not only does it lack originality, but to believe that Matt can trap someone who had been using that same power for most of his life is kind of ridiculous.
B.K. said:They're going to end the season with the episode on December 3.
HEROES Think the Hollywood conflicts can't reach into your living room and affect you? A story in TV Guide says that the December 3rd episode is getting an "alternate ending" filmed in case it has to serve as a season finale. The strike started as of midnight Monday morning, with the Writers Guild of America and all their signatories instituting a work stoppage for financial reasons.

great, so if this thing isnt over by then, we get a shit version of the ending...fantastic.
Replicant said:Not really. I've read the spoiler and I think they are just going to remove any references to the next plot from episode 11.
Replicant said:Not really. I've read the spoiler and I think they are just going to remove any references to the next plot from episode 11. You know, just like we saw Hiro stranded in Japan back at the end of volume 1? If they just removed that, things will be fine and we can still see that when episode 12 returns to the screen.
What was the plot for the next half of the season supposed to be?

He is the original gene carrier. That is where the symbol comes from. He started everything. He has spread his genes enough to create everyone you see now in the cast.
heliosRAzi said:So there is some serious inbreeding going on. I'm surprised that Mycah isn't mentally retarded.
I was jokingpxleyes said:imbreeding? I doubt that. It is a family tree that spread. 400 years is a long time for genes to spread out. I mean technically we are all inbreeding but you cant look at it that way once it spreads that far.

At which point in Season 2 did you realize that the best of Heroes was over and everything else from here on out is all downhill?
1. Both Peter and Nathan surviving the nuclear explosion from Season 1 - Rendering the brothers sacrifice and character development in Season 1 completely meaningless...among other things
2. Sylar still alive - I mean come on now, is this Scooby Doo or the original Batman show? None of the main characters can die now? There goes the suspense. Now it's just a "Hero of the week"/"Monster of the week" type of show.
3. Peter having amnesia - Heroes turning into a Daytime Soap!
4. New Hero being a "Katrina" survivor - Yea we all saw it, how sad the writers had to use Katrina for something.
5. Peter deciding Not to open the box - Uncharacteristic behavior for the sake of milking his amnesia a little longer...yet another Daytime Soap tactic. What's next, DL coming back as a ghost?
6. West & Claire - This kid is a horrible actor and the scenes with both of them reek of Fonzy on waterskiis.
7. Reversal of character growth from Season 1 - Claire going back to not trusting and lying to her dad. HRG going back to not trusting his family and doing things behind their back. Hiro doing a 180 on his ideals from Season 1 for some new girl...already forgetting about the one he had in Season 1.
8. Recycling Season 1 plotlines - Claire struggles to keep her secret hidden. West just wants her to be herself. Now they're keeping secrets from her dad. Sound familiar? Sure does. It's Season 1 all over again! Same plot different boy. Yawn. Hiro wants to help Kensei fufill his destiny just like Hiro wanted to fufill his own destiny last Season. Very similar plotline. And then of course we have Peter re-rediscovering his powers again just like he was all throughout Season 1. Isac is back from the grave with his "secret" series of paintings...oh god, I can't believe that did this. Once again it's all about Isac's paintings and "collecting them all" to presumably "save the world". Recycled plotlines.
At what moment did you realize Heroes had reached its peak and everything ahead was all downhill?
For me, it was #1. Come up with your own scene if it was not listed here.

Heroes has jumped the shark. Notice how DL does come back as a "ghost" in this episode ....
