So I purchased my console last weekend without knowing about this (boo). Already own Windwaker, 3D World, Pikmin 3, and MK8.
I'm thinking Wonderful 101 and Donkey Kong for two of my games, should I do Lego City for the third? Seems like a waste to get Zombie U since it is like 15 bucks alone.

Trying to figure out whether it makes more sense to pick up a refurbished WiiU, and use NSMBU/NSLU/SM3DW in the B2G1, or pick up the bundle, though with already having grabbed MK8 that would limit my options more.
I'd have to pick up Wiimote Pluses either way though, I think. Those are required for most games that support WiiMotes, right?

Going there early tomorrow. I hope they do price matching with b2g1 as games are only like 40 bucks in Amazon right now. If not I only really need to get Super Mario 3D World. The rest I can rent.

You have 2 things you can do.
1: Do a price match on each item and ring them up in one transaction with some other stuff; the free game is automatic at the register, don't let them tell you it won't stack.
2: Buy 3 games, return 2; you will get about 80 bucks back, making it a 33 percent off sale for you instead.

If you HAVE to get those games and not others, get Mario Kart 8, W101 and ZombiU. Because you can use Mario Kart 8 to get a free copy of Windwaker HD by registering the game before July 31st.

Will amazon price match the b2g1? Otherwise...will target price match Mario kart with amazon stacked with the b2 get 1? Amazon Mario kart and sm3dw is $50 instead of target $60. I just bought a refurbished unit

From what I read of Target, they can refuse to price match if the item is on limited quantity in a store.
I agree. 3D World didn't really gel with me or any of the people I played it with coop (which was like 12-15 different people). I guess we're all just too old and too used to 2D platformers.
Nah, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, and Zelda is probably better (in terms of maximizing your free item). ZombiU is dirt cheap at most places most of the time (I think it's like $10 at Best Buy?) and Wonderful 101 can be found fairly cheap as well ($9 at Toys R Us if the one near u still has in stock; otherwise I think it's a little bit more expensive online). Mario Kart 8 gets you a free game so you can get NSMBU (or one of the other free games). DK:TF is a great game with great music.

Is there a way to price match on the target website? I was thinking Mario 3d, Mario kart, and dktf for $50 price matching with amazon. Otherwise its $60 on the web and get smash but pay $20 more overall. I'd rather pm cause smash can wait .

Update: Picked up my order. They wouldn't price match Amazon. He said it was either price match or the buy 2 get 1 deal. I wanted to show him this thread and some of the people who got both deals but I was tired and didn't want to make a scene over $20. Plus, the dude was one of those irritatingly upbeat people for a Sunday morning and I knew I couldn't win. Got home, set up the console, and now I just have to wait a half hour for the system to update and we're off kartin'!
I don't think it's at MSRP. I think it's whatever price Target has the items at. It's likely that you can even price match AND do B2G1 free (although I wouldn't mention that you're trying to stack the offers; just let the computer do the free item automatically).
You MIGHT be able to do it retroactively through the chat, but YMMV on that.

Lego City Undercover is the only game I can think of to pick up. I own most of the worthwhile games for Wii U already. Rayman Legends is the only third party game I own, so I'll have to see what other stuff is out there.
