Whoa, the final 2 seconds of that b-roll...ninja disguise confirmed?
I am loving all the unveiled unlocks so far for hokkaido. I can't honestly see why I would take in a non-lethal weapon since I can just pick one up in level (same as the combat knife or the machete), but it's cool to have for weapon specific contracts.

Well, they are unlocks. So they aren't lying around a hospital, Agent 47 just brought some stuff from his shopping spree in TokyoI love how they're just shoving in any Japanese thing they can think of even though there's no way this stuff would be lying around a hospital.
Predicted challenges:
+Kill a target with poisoned sushi
+Kill a target with a shuriken while disguised as a ninja
+Run over a target with a shinkansen
+Kill a target in the sumo ring
+Choke a target to death with a kimono belt

I never knew I wanted a challenge so badly.

I was on vacation so I've been catching up on episodes 3 to 5. I've had opportunity info. and instinct turned off since the beginning but I'm sorta reconsidering the former.
Since the games been out a while, what do people feel are the best settings for the game not holding your hand but at the same time, information isn't lost if I turn the setting off?
e.g. If disabling opportunities gets rid of info that I couldn't glean otherwise from actually listening to conversations and so on.
CheersIt's up for another 40 hours or so.

FUGU!
Next unlock reveal...
Looks like it's just the gunpowder bag from Sapienza, but I like being able to drop an explosive without everyone spiking suspicion on me.
Looks like somebody wrapped some parchment around a fat propane tank. I'd call that suspicious.
It's up for another 40 hours or so.
Disabling opportunities turns off Diana's commentary, which I like to at least hear once.
I turn off opportunities until I have an idea of what they all are, which doesn't take long. Then I set them to minimal.
The conversations are enough to know more or less what to do. Be sure to read intel though.
I usually do my first couple of playthroughs blind- using any opportunities I may have overheard/discovered naturally and trying them out on my own.
After I feel like I got all I could- I switch to minimal to do everything else.

So basically an equippable from the start fire extinguisher.
...which is actually one of the most OP items in the game. Stealth item in hand and in ground, placeable by the user, provoke an explosion that are considered accident kills...
where can i buy this at lowest price possible?
I finally got around to playing through this game and it is fantastic! I've made it through the main contracts for each map that's been released so far and now am onto replaying them while trying new opportunities.
I've also been messing around with escalation missions and I think they are actually pretty cool! There are a whole lot of them and I like they take me to areas of the maps that I may not have had a reason to really use before.
And I've done a few elusive missions, which I find really tense knowing that you only have one shot at them. This game is fantastic and I'm looking forward to the Hokkaido map in a few days.
Does anybody know if we're getting a season 2 of Hitman? This game has done really well for them hasn't it? I actually think the episodic releasing of maps really works for this game.
That's a fantastic idea in my opinion. Depends how long they leave the elusive available. If it's for a week or so most players would have a good idea of the map.I was thinking that it'd be cool for them to one time release an elusive on a new map the day it comes out. Going straight into an elusive on a map you don't know at all would be pretty exciting.

^ I think I know the actual trick here (from The Granville Curiosity), I just colossally misjudge the sound range of the silenced shotgun. Which is why I look for any excuse to use it!
That's the thing, then you'd have to cram learning the level and the elusive into a week. Most people would feel unreasonably rushed.
If you really want people to fly by the seat of the pants... What if there were a level that's only used for elusive targets? So you couldn't play it in any other game mode.
Probably not cost-effective in terms of making content, but the tension of every single run would be off the charts.
