Lol i put in over 10 gs and I'm up like 13 percent like 1300 or 1400 bucks. I'd rather the market still be depressed so I can purchase even more stocks of good companies at a more affordable price.
...Whats wrong with waiting? Or you could sell now and invest again when you feel the market is more 'realistic'. Honestly this feels like as much as I hate to say it "the new normal". I expect the markets to be volatile for years.

Not interested in trading. I wanna buy as much stocks of good companies as possible that pays dividends and has a long history of paying dividends. the more expensive the stocks become the less I can buy and less dividend income I can get. If a stock I have does become super overpriced hell yeah I'd sell em but I want some stable dividend income tho I think a lot of companies suspended their dividends right now. But still u need a lot of shares just to even get $1000 per year in dividends. I have a long way to go to get enough to live off of.

I dunno man, I invested only $1k into two ETF's and one gaming ETF and have made $400 in profit in just 3 months. Did you jump on Tesla and SpaceX when they were low? They seem like a good bet, however im not to informed about dividends. Aside from like Target and T. Row Price. I don't trust those gigantic companies enough to trust they are properly distributing the ACTUAL % of dividends they should give out. And im not about to put ALL my money into the market.

SpaceX isn’t a publicly traded company, and Elon says it’ll remain private. If only...

All my investments have pretty much recovered. I am sure there are still going to be some big losses out there coming, but the willingness to invest in the rebuilding/reshuffling tends to be strong.

So how many of you cashed out at the bottom and bought in higher? Or still sitting in cash? Must be painful.

My portfolio is recovering well. Didn't do anything crazy but did increase contributions to my funds during the last downturn. In process of refinancing our 30-yr mortgage in 2018 @ 5.12 down to 2.96% as well.

I don't understand the market at all. I got in, got out, and made money during this climb. I don't know where this growth is coming from. The only thing I take from this is that we're getting closer to all-powerful megacorps. All hail the forthcoming Tyrell Corp, EuroCorp, and VersaLife.

I've stepped away from day trading for a bit cause stocks were reacting to news the opposite of how they should. It's all upside down at the moment. Doing marginally well in swing trades of late.

it's hard to trust the stock market when the economy isn't doing that well. it could implode, but i'm glad to see it's high right now. hope it stays that way.

I was waiting for BP to turn back around. Once it gets around 25 gonna bail out for a while. Sold everything else except for a little I have in a SPAC. Made about 35% on another SPAC this year.

Things are getting too crazy.
