No way, that joke is hilarious.

For those that don't know: What do you call a guy with a rubber toe?
Roberto

OP are you sure the guy wasn't just pissed because the joke was shit? I know I'd scowl simply because of how annoyingly dumb it is. I hate when people waste my time with bad jokes.

Yeah, I thought so too. A quick wiki tells me it is Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. Not really seeing the anti Mexican racism, or any racism in the joke.

:p

Was the joke that there was no racist joke?

No, its just a stupid joke.

When a mate of ours from Texas locked his keys out of the house he called his Mexican mate and asked him to come round and help him break into his house because you know, Mexicans are used to that sort of shit.

His Mexican mate laughed

The OP supports my conviction that some people have absolutely no idea what racism is. Make a joke about someone's appearance in non-racial terms? Racist. Criticize some aspect of Islamic ideology or practice? Racist. Tell a joke whose punchline is a Mexican name? Racist.

Learn what words mean, people.

One thing I have learnt from neogaf is that everything is offensive. That joke was clearly offensive and racist. I hope you asked the bouncer to kick your racist friend out after you lectured him about racism.

Jay Z does stand up. " I jack I rob I sin I'm Jackie Robinson "

That joke isn't nearly as racists as

What did the spanish fire fighter name his two kids.
Hose A and Hose B....

How about this GAF?

I was born in another country but I am a US citizen(I'm half latino, half white), I live in the US now. My brother lives out of the country.

A month ago my brother came to visit, at the time at work we had some training, it was a what to do in case of a shooting in the building kind of thing. I had a guy tell me jokingly that I should bring my brother in and he can pretend to be the shooter.

Now just last week, the same guy asked me(jokingly again) if my brother and I do the kind of stuff that just happened in Boston.

I like this person, but this kind of jokes rubbed me the wrong way. What do you think?

This one only works when you say it aloud, but did you hear about the Spanish fireman?

He had two sons, José and Hose B.

I don't really think it's racist, it's just a play on words which isn't intended to be derogatory to anyone.

Now THIS is racist.
