Question for people with terabytes of porn; how do you go about organizing such a collection? Is there an iTunes for porn?

I was looking at database solutions intended for collections and in the end decided to make my own.

I can query by name, performer, maker, and production code, both with a command line tool and a GUI tool with movie cover icons and an info pane for the selected movie.

It's kinda bare bones; I stopped working on it as soon as it was useful enough. I've intended to go back and add features for years, but never do.

I find the idea of collecting porn pretty crazy. I remember in Jr. high we found a ton of porn on my friends step dads computer. It was in a folder called Sky inside his Taxes 1999 folder.

most sites offer a one time a month subscrip, download everything that interests you for a flat fee and bail. show up a year or two later and do it again.

Last year I deleted by porn collection twice thanks to GAF and the don't fap challenge. I regretted it big time in the end! I lost a lot of great material

Right now my porn collection is probably 20-25 gigs but I don't get to watch it that often.

Because a lot of older scenes are extremely hard to find and are pretty much nonexistent on streaming sites. A lot of black porn has women who only do 1 or 2 scenes and often have super generic names. If you dont download that scene when you come across it its likely you wont find it again. Once you build up a library of scenes that display exactly what you like its hard to just press play on a random streaming video and be happy with that.

My old hdd malfunctioned and there are so many classic videos on there i really want to watch. From the way its acting i know if i take it to a shop they can transfer all the data but i dont feel comfortable showing up with a drive filled with porn.
