Lettuce is fine with me. What I don't like is the Mac sauce, or mayo, or...er....that nasty sauce they put on fish. All of those are disgusting to me. Not a fan of tomatoes either.

I can tolerate ketchup, but I don't put it on a burger I make at home.

My preferred burger toppings are mustard, onions, lettuce and cheese.

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
From fast food places?
Nah, but freshly done at home is another thing though.
But I tend to not have all that shit on my burgers.
Double Cheese & bacon burger and that's it and whatever sauce ya want.

I have MacDonalds about once a month.

It's not great, but it's cheap and has some weird appeal to me (yeah, yeah, the sugar and fat). I get disappointed by the Big Mac every time, yet still get it and end up enjoying it. I like the lettuce on it, but it's also the most disappointing and deceptive part of it.

I don't understand people who go often though. As convenient and short term satisfying as it is, it's really not healthy at all, nor is it good.

I only really get Quarter Pounders since they started cooking them on order. It’s makes it taste nicer when it’s actually pretty fresh (we’ll for McDonalds food at least). They still manage to fuck that up periodically though.

McDonalds is like my last resort if there isn’t/Im sick of Wendeys or Five Guys.

I used to eat McDonald's a lot after classes in college since it was convenient, rarely eat there now but I preferred the quarter pounder,it feels closer to a real burger than half the menu at that place, the big Mac is like a kids meal made out of cardboard.

McDonald's has, unironically, some of the best Coca Cola anywhere that you don't have to dine in at. I forget the nifty tech, but I'm pretty sure they store it differently than other chains so it always comes out fantastic compared to other places that taste watery and shit.

It's necessary to get a ton of lettuce to make it seem worth it since you get two small ass patties.

I just realized that I always do the lettuce at the bottom when I make burgers at home... but it should go on top?

Edit: checked some pics and it varies, so what do you guys prefer?

Lettuce goes on top always. You need the stability of the flat bun so that patty does slide out. Carl's Jr puts the veggies on the bottom that's why there burgers are so messy to eat.

Take most off. If I'm eating McDonald's I'm not looking for juicy fresh vegetables.

I don't mind the iceberg, but the shredded kind they use is just a waste of time in any "circular bun" type of sandwich since its an impossibility to actually get it to stay in there while eating. It all just falls out the sides you pick up and squeeze the sandwich at all (such as when you bite into it). Any burger type of sandwich should have a full leaf of lettuce.
