best way to get rid of surface scratches that I know of is if you have just a medium buffing wheel. I would stay way from most compounds unless the scratches go to deep. but most scratches that can barely be felt by your fingernail or something can just be taken out with a buffing wheel.

with a buffing wheel how much do those runs??? do you use any wax or something with it??
i mean these are barely felt by rubbing my fingernail over tehm

Meguiar's Scratch X - there is no substitute.

It worked on every scratch on my car.

Just use a cloth as recommended on the tube. It's good stuff, I've used it as well.

sweeeeeeeeeeet. im gonna give this scratch x a try. im taking it it can be found at autozone/autonation etc??? i think im gonna pick up a buffing wheel just for future waxings though. how much are they usually??

Yes they're the best way but NEVER suggest it to someone who doesn't know what they're doing, they can easily make it a lot worse.

if you've got light scratches all over, that scratchX will fuck you up if you do it manually with a cloth. You need quite some elbow grease, and that can wear you out.

Either get a cheap random-orbit buffer, or do it in patches.

Good stuff though.
