How long are hardboiled eggs good for unrefridgerated?

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
A few days ago I hardboiled my last eggs and accidentally left a few in the pot for a day. Since then they've been in the fridge, but I have no idea if they're good or not. Should I eat them? yes or no: circle one

They should be fine but I suggest you cut them open and if they smell funky don't eat them.

6 months, if you think it'll be longer before you eat them, at 6 months, turn each egg upside down for another 6 months. Repeat until ready to eat.

I wouldn't eat them after too long, but you can keep a hardboiled egg for years if you really wanted to. Sure, you can't eat it, but you could let it sit, and it wouldn't smell at all. My grandmother has an egg from easter that my Dad painted from 1985
