The whole "woke/anti-woke" meme is far too tired and depressing to raise its profile to even a fraction of that. This game doesn't seem to have anything properly viral in it, and it doesn't even have coop. Also, they have prettified and smoothed out all their characters, but I don't think the Asian markets will bite as it needs them to.

Nope. But it's still peaking with no signs of slowing down.

It's 100gb download that had no preload. A lot of people are still at work. We won't see the true number until this weekend.

That's no surprise. Dragon Age is a bigger IP and the 4th game in the series, of course it's going to have better #'s than Concord. It would not surprise me to see 100k+ numbers. There's a lot of people buying this game because it's Dragon Age and have no clue about the discourse surrounding it.

I think it's a disservice to try and minimize the number of players this game is going to have. EA's put their full marketing weight behind it, and that counts for a lot. It's going to do some pretty decent numbers. The real test is how long it's sustained for, once people have played the game and had a taste for how it actually is.

Around 40k concurrent players now and think it'll need to reach at least 200k concurrent players for it's peak to be a success with the amount of work and budget they put into. Should end up around the 100k mark and overall after all the platforms combined it'll be below expectation but not a total flop.
