How many times does Nintendo want to sell me the same game?

I would buy Mother 1 +2, Actraiser, Final Fantasy VI, and Earthbound if they came to GBA. I have to admit there's something appealing about having your favourite games from the 90's right in your pocket.
Uh Earthbound is Mother 2...

If you don't like them, don't buy them. Someone else will be there to pick up the slack. I'd imagine alot of those sales are from people who were too young to remember the experience, or never played those games at all but are familiar with the Mario universe.
Not everyone is in their late 20's you know.

I think it'd be a little bit rediculous to regurgitate on a console, but for this handheld the game seems like a nice fit the same way the 2d mario game pots were for GBA.
On the other hand, I'd kill for more compilations along the lines of the Sonic Mega Collection, the Megaman one, and that Zelda compillation bonus disk for the cube.
Basically what I'm saying is god damnit give me a Castlevania collection already!
:)

Nintendo is creatively bankrupt. How many new, platforming Mario games have we got since Mario 64? ONE. That's not right.

Reggie himself said he wants to see Mario relevant to todays kids.
For that to happen we need new Mario games that re-invented gaming like smb 1,2 and 3 back in my day.
I suggest going back to a 2-d with awsome new power ups.
Mario stopped being mario when he lost his power ups.
We need a good 2-d Mario on the cube itself the did the 3-d thing already.
I know they are working on a new 2.5d mario on the ds which is a step in the right direction.

I know Rathet and Clank is awesome but I refuse to keep buying $50 expansion packs.

The games are $39.99, Snowflake. Of course, you're playing a port of an eight year old game, so you're probably not up with the times.

well it's only a portable version of arguably one of the greatest games of all time. For $29.99 and it's probably got more new content than your average Ratchet and Clank sequel.

Like online play.

Wait, no.

If you owned a business, and made a product that people kept buying and buying and buying, why would you stop doing so when it's constantly bringing in money for you?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you're saying "probably" because you've never actually bothered playing one.

I played an hour of the first, hour of the third, and noticed enough cool new stuff to agree with this limbage.

GameBoy advance, lets give em Mario again. DS, let's get them to buy it one more time. Is it just me or is Nintendo playing everyone for a sap?

I feel you could have directed this out burst at the industry as a whole then just Nintendo.

ah online play. Always a great sequel justifier when you've totally run out of new ideas. :D

So what does that mean about wireless play, hmmm?

At least the OL play is fun, free, and supports voice chat. Wireless play in SM64 DS is just thrown in like the minigames to make it seem new. R&C 3 also has different control types. Ones that actually work.

Hmm, I thought Ratched And Clank was alright but nothing special when I played the demo. Too much shooting, not enough platforming. I'm liking what I'm playing of Mario 64 DS so far, I didn't really play the N64 one too thoroughly so this is a good new experience for me. I also am fond of remakes, to get the younger people playing games that we grew up with... It's amazing how a game like Super Mario Bros 3 still is so popular today (I was dying for that game when I was 7 years old, for instance).

Well, how about "How many times does Nintendo want to sel me the same hardware?"

After the whole goddamn bullshit with the GBA and GBA SP, I'm not going to touch the DS until I see it's next incarnation.......
