How much are you spending on a Switch day one?

Neon Console £279 (Possibly £251)
Zelda £47
Bomberman R
Joycon red/blue £67.49
Mario case £15.99

Might also get a pro controller.

StoOgE

First tragedy, then farce.
Standard console - 300
Zelda - 60
Charging Grip - 30
Joy Con - 60
SD card - 80

530 bucks :/

Maybe a second charging grip. the Joycon grip that comes with the system doesn't look like it charges the controllers.

Then a pro controller once something that merits it releases.

Switch - $199.99
BOTW: Master Edition - $103.99 (GCU)
Pro Controller - $69.99
Bomberman - $47.99 (GCU)
BOTW amiibo - $67.15 (GCU)

Just as well count the amiibo since it's 3/3. Not sure I'll buy Bomberman if it truly is a $60 game. I'm hoping it will be $40.

That's $523.35 when adding tax. Yikes. Zelda game and amiibo are paid for and I put $50 on the system at Gamestop, so have $397.23 to go!

Console and Zelda SE for now. I'm considering the Pro controller but maybe I should try the console first and see how I do without it. At the same time, if I don't get one it might be a while until they're available but that price is pretty expensive for a controller.

Too damn much!

Console - $300
Pro Controller - $70
Zelda: BoTW - $60
Joy-Cons (L/R) - $80

$430 without Joy-Cons, $510 with Joy-Cons

Console
Zelda Master Edition
Charging Grip
Carrying Case + Screen Protector
Pro Controller
Bomberman

Around $620 after tax. Ouch. Not sure I'll keep Bomberman preordered if it's truly a $60 game, Konami said the MSRP wasn't finalized.

If I keep my Preorder:

Console
Zelda
Bomberman
SD Card

Whatever that adds up to. Not pressed about the Pro controller; no games that I will be purchasing at launch will make the experience demonstrably better with that controller.

At the moment, $360 on day one. I have a Switch and Zelda preordered on Amazon. When Konami announces the final price for Super Bomberman R, I might add that as well. I'm not shelling out $60 for the game, but if it's $20-$40, I'll probably add it on to my order.

Switch - 300
Zelda Master Edition - 104 (Amazon Prime)
Blue joy cons - 80
Charging grip - 30
Micro SD card - 40
Pro Controller (assuming I can actually find one) - 70

$624

The plan so far:

Switch - £140 (and trading in my Xbox One)
Zelda - £48 (Amazon pre-order + Prime discount. May fall further)

Total: £188 (and an Xbone)

Three Switch Consoles (two gray and one neon for wife, daughter and myself) $900.00
Joy-Con Charging Grip $31.79
Super Bomberman R $63.59
The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ $33.91
200GB ScanDisk SD Card $70.63
Puyo Puyo Tetris $33.91
Breath of the Wild Special Edition $99.99
Breath of the Wild Special Edition (UK version since I missed the Masters Edition) $80.47

Grand Total: $1314.29

Just the console at first. I'll pick up a few games digitally whenever I'm drunk and can stomach the price on the Nintendo e-store. I'll pick up a large Micro SD Card when I find a good deal.

Console (neon) £279
JoyCon set £75
Grip £28
TOTAL £382

Edit - Screw it, i'll probably grab a second joycon set too..

Console, Binding of Isaac, Zelda for sure.
Maybe a second set of joycons and the charge grip.
I keep flip flopping on getting second set of joycons ans charge grip or a pro controller. I feel like the benefits of the second set of joycons - 4 player Mario kart, etc. - outweigh a d-pad...But I dunno.

Console - $300
Pro Controller - $70
Single Joy-con - $50
Joy-con Set - $80
Chargeable Grip - $30
Extra Dock - $90
Games - varies in price
SD card - varies in price
Extra battery - varies in price

Put prices in your responses please.

Hmmm let's see here.

Switch puts me at $300
I'm getting a ProCon $70
Zelda $60

That puts me at $430...

Don't care for the other shit just yet. I'm just trying to play me some Zelda at launch.

Will consider the chargeable grip though, and Bomberman is a maybe depending on whether my friends wimo out.

Edit: oh shit, Zelda Switch on Amazon prime is discounted. Nice.

Neon Console @ $299.99
Zelda Switch @ $59.99

Plus taxes.

So close to $400

But I put $50 on the console and $5 on the game. I might trade in other stuff for a better price.

Grey Console - €390
Blue JoyCons - $80
Charging Grip - $30
Zelda - $60
1-2-Switch - $50
Hori Tough Puch - $18

Total around $660

I may get the Pro controller if Amazon sells it.

I may cancel the Charging grip, if the battery life if good, it shouldn't be a problem swapping the JoyCons on the Switch now and then so both pairs get charged.

Nintendo Switch 299.99

Havn't preordered any games yet. Does best buy deliver games on release day guaranteed like Amazon? Want to get Zelda and Bomberman but don't want to go the store and best buy gamers club is cheaper than prime.

No games?
Not right away. Lots of game pre-orders in March taking priority. If I can, I would get Bomberman and Zelda along with a Pro controller, a set of red joy-cons, a set of blue joy-cons, and an extra dock. FYI I an getting the console with the grey joy-cons.

Nothing until a few months later. Day one units will sell to the hardcore Nintendo users...I'll jump in maybe later this year or next year, perhaps with a slight decrease in price by then.

Switch (Neon): €330
Zelda LE: €100
Pro Controller: €70

Total: €500

Not really any other games I want day one. I want to get Mario Kart and probably Snipperclips when they come out though.

However if I get it and really dislike it (hard to imagine because of Zelda, but maybe I won't like the console itself) I will return it and get the €400 for the console and the controller back since I bought it online and I'll then probably end up selling Zelda (just the game) for like €50.

$320 in accessories

😑

100% optional accessories, many of which are duplicates of items already included with the base purchase. I don't see the issue.

Edit: as for me, it's probably gonna be the console, Zelda and (depending on the price) bomberman. probably almost $400

$419.99 CAD - Console (Grey)

That's about it for now. I will surely pick up one or two games for launch, but haven't decided on which yet.

I'll be using it for docked mode 95% of the time, so a lot of the charging accessories won't matter to me.

Console - $300
Zelda - $60

$360 + tax.

I might buy the neon Joycons separately if they're available at launch with an extra grip. Gotta be prepared for ARMS.

30,000yen for the console.
Whatever Bomberman costs
Some version of Zelda

Gonna wait on everything else. Save up for the onslaught of JRPGs. And my daughter wants ARMS. She was right about Splatoon, so i trust her judgement.

I'm getting the Grey Switch, Zelda Master Edition, a Charging controller and a screen protector so around $441

If a pro controller comes up for pre order on Amazon I'll drop the charge pad and it'll be $481 instead

"March 3rd" day one?
$0

Same.

Now when Super Mario Odyssey comes out I'll be getting:

-Switch
-Super Mario Oddisey

I'm dead set on that, also games that interest me that could've come out by then, of course some are big question marks regarding their release date, otherwise I'll get them later.

-Super Bomberman R(will be already out)
-Fire Emblem Warriors(likely)
-Sonic Mania(likely)
-Yooka-Laylee(maybe?)
-Sonic 2017(maybe?)
-Xenoblade Chronicles 2(not counting on it)
-Dragon Quest XI(not counting on it either)
-Project Octopath Traveler(the least likely of all I guess)

So whatever all that cost by then, regardless I have plenty of time to save.

Three Switch Consoles (two gray and one neon for wife, daughter and myself) $900.00
Joy-Con Charging Grip $31.79
Super Bomberman R $63.59
The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ $33.91
200GB ScanDisk SD Card $70.63
Puyo Puyo Tetris $33.91
Breath of the Wild Special Edition $99.99
Breath of the Wild Special Edition (UK version since I missed the Masters Edition) $80.47

Grand Total: $1314.29

Crazy how I have a good bit of money in savings but I still can't fathom the idea of paying $1,300 all at once for a new console launch. Sounds like it'll be super fun for you and your family though!

Three Switch Consoles (two gray and one neon for wife, daughter and myself) $900.00

Christ man you paid them all in full? At least let the Wife pay for hers while you pay for the daughter or something.

How much is Snipperclips? $700?

Guess I'm spending $700.

Yes it is, they are sold out though but I have a preorder just for you just paypal me at this webzone. It'll get to you.

Console + Zelda.

I already have a 32gb micro SD card lying around.. and given that there aren't any games I want other than Mario I should be fine with the combined 64gb for a while.

I also don't really play games locally multiplayer cuz I'm an adult with basically no gamer friends, so won't need another controller. Batteries seem fine. Don't really need any accessories.

So like $360+ US tax.

Nintendo Switch (Grey) - $250 (Since I've already put in a $50 deposit)
Zelda - $55 ($5 deposit)

So technically $305 +tax on launch day.

I'm much less worried about the cost of my Zelda machine and moreso about the cost of all the great games coming out for PS4/PC between January and March, Nier stinging the most since it's so close to launch.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: $52
ARMS: $52

$400 even. The console, Zelda, and a microSD card. Maybe I'll tack on Bomberman if it turns out OK, but it's Konami.

I've got my eye on some other games (Mario Kart, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Disgaea 5) that I don't think are launch games, but hopefully they won't be too far out.
