How much are you spending on a Switch day one?

I'm still a little unclear on what games will actually available day 1 in the US. Likely I'll just get what I've pre-ordered already so the Switch console and Zelda.

If I can find a Pro Controller, I might pick up one of those as well.

So anywhere from $350-$420 before tax. Not too bad. Spent waaaaaaay more at the Wii U launch.

Getting the console for 270 at Target. I played the long game on this one and bought 300 dollars of Target gift cards for 10 percent off back in December in preparation for this (300 was the max they let you buy). Combined with Red Card, it comes out to 272 after tax.

System and BOTW Special Edition. May get a screen protector due to my nephew possibly getting a hold of it, but otherwise that's my limit.

Well it's around 400€ now:
27€ Grey Zelda Switch Official Nintendo carry case includes sd cart holder and gamecard holder.
59,99€ Zelda Breath of the Wild.
309€ Nintendo Switch Grey.

Hmm not sure yet.

Definitely:

Console, obviously: $300
Zelda: $60

Maybe:
Pro Controller: $70
Bomberman: $50 (?)

So, from $360 to $480, excluding tax. Can't wait!

Against my better judgement on this I decided to jump in day one(or whenever it ships to me anyway). Got the grey console, Zelda standard and also Zelda for the Wii U(because collector and reasons).

I then later pre-ordered the masters edition of Zelda.

So far console and Zelda.

But I'll go a local retailer during the morning of the launch to get some hype going on (while Amazon delivers my console to me ;) ) and I might pick up some eShop credits if the initial offering is good for Virtual Console and/or indie titles and a SD card.

This would be 330€ + 70€ = 400€.

Console - $300
Zelda - $48
Glass screen protector - $10

None of that goofy sales tax BS (Oregon ftw)

$358

I can't believe Nintendo has suckered some of you into spending $90 on that plastic doc.

330€ for the Console
70€ for Zelda
Probably some other launch games as well... but not sure which ones yet.

Might get a shiny new TV as well alongside, which really puts the price into perspective.

I'm in for $667.50 Aud as I'm grabbing the console, Zelda and a Pro controller. I'm also eyeing off the carry case and screen protector. I'll throw in a spare 64gb microsd and pick up a 200gb farther down the road.

Around 420 dollars I guess,
Switch 300$
Zelda 60$
Bomberman R 40$ (probably. Not buying if its any higher)
A carrying case of some sort (20$?)

neon console through target w/ red card: $306 after tax/ship
Zelda SE through amazon: $83

so $390ish total? might get a pro controller if i see it available. no chance on second dock unless there's a waaay cheaper third party option. i'd rather buy a power cord from nintendo and move the original dock

right now just Console and Zelda

$300
$47.99 (GCU)

really want a second game, but none are too appealing. will probably gamefly 1,2 switch to test out the motion in the JoyCons. they really should have packed in something, however small: a sample of 1,2 switch, Wii Sports Mix from Wii U, ARMS demo...something. Holding off on another controller for now.

Switch - 300
Pro Con - 70
Screen Protector - 7
Zelda - 38
Mario - 38
ARMS - 38

Total - 491

Usually don't post in these topics but I wanted to point out that the current Best Buy "$25 off $100" deal is crazy good.

I'm probably on the high end:

Switch: $300
JoyCon LR: $80
JoyCon Charging Grip: $30
Pro Controller: $70
Nintendo AC Adaptor: $30
Zelda BOTW Master Edition: $130
Super Bomberman R: $48 after GCU
1 2 Switch: $40 after GCU
Total: $728 (around $780 after tax)

I plan to get a case for it, but haven't decided which one yet. Also, I have Arms, MK8, and Puyo Puyo Tetris pre-ordered for the spring.

Probably just Switch + Zelda, which atm seems to add up to €330+€60= €390,-. Luckily the impressions of the joycons are positive so I don't need a Pro controller right away. Still a bit upset with the price gouging that is going on, it really should've been priced €300 over here (retailers put it up on for €310,- at the day of the presentation but turned the price up the day after to seemingly match the other eu countries, sadly I didn't jump on a preorder right away since they do honor that price). I might just pull the cheapskate option and just grab Zelda for WiiU instead and wait out for Splatoon 2 or something, though I'll probably go the lazy way of deciding things and just not preorder at all and see if I can pick a system up on day one in stores. (not-so-)Impulse buys ftw.

Day one for me would be Splatoon or Mario gets release.

Console 299.99
Game 59.99 (assuming)
Sub Total 359.98
Tax 8.75%
Total $391.49

About $220 for the Grey System, midrange Zelda edition, pro controller, and Disgaia 5. I'm trading in my ps4 and games for the system.

Console : 330 €
Zelda Limited Edition: 99 €
Pro Controller: 70 €
Super Bomberman R: 50 €
Official Case + Screen Protector: 20 €

Total: 569 € / 610 $

Here's my list:

Switch (grey) 330€
Zelda (standard) 69€
Pro Controller 69€
Carrying Case 19€

Total 490

My Wife is getting

Switch (neon) 330€
Zelda (standard) 69€
Carrying Case 19€

Total 420

If it's reasonably priced, I'll get Bomberman as well.

Day one as in March 3rd? $0. Don't have the money right now.

Day one as in the day when I buy the console? Not sure. Depends on what games are out by then.

I'm tempted to get this day one for $300 plus tax, but realized that there would probably be a special edition switch when pokemon stars gets released... so $0 for now
