How much water do you drink per day roughly?

Is it possible to drink too much water?

I have a water bottle here at work that can fit pretty much 4 cups of water. I typically go through it about 3-4 times at work.

I have another water bottle at home, it probably fits about the same amount. I drink through it 1-2 times between getting home and bed time.

Yes, but it's usually too much too quickly.

A good few litres a day or about 8 pints in Roman Catholic. Also one cup of tea because I'm English and it's the law :)

After the Christmas binge I am glad to be getting back on a more sensible diet because I feel like poop, both physically and mentally.

I drink this everyday (not my pic):

So yeah, a lot. Probably about 3 or 4 litres a day.

For those who don't know, it's a drink called tererê, and it's quite popular in South America (specially in Paraguay and south Brazil). It's basically water served into a cup with a kind of herb which is also used for tea (we call it erva-mate, the scientific name is Ilex paraguariensis). Some people drink it with lemonade or other kinds of juices.

A lot. I'm one of those people who just loves the taste. Unless I just went out to get food, I'm drinking water with everything I eat, and constantly between meals, too. It's sooo good.

I have one of these at my desk and usually drink about twelve of them a day, so about a gallon and a half.

Much worse about drinking it at home though, which is hypocritical as I'm always getting on the kids to drink more of the stuff.

at least 6-7 glasses while at work, then another 4-5 at home by the time I go to bed

some days I may get busy and don't get over to refill at the break room as much but I'll try to make up for it the next.

At least 3 liters.

Protip for staying healthy: overnight, mix water, lemon, lime and mint in a pitcher and let sit. Drink the next day. You will feel amazing.

What is this?

A few large glasses these days. I switched from sodas to sparkling water which has really helped and I've been drinking a fair bit of it.

60-100ozs a day depending on how thirsty I am. Occasionally I'll have some juice.

I used to drink lots and lots of soda and other bad things, but stopped after chronic stomach pain, headaches and just run down feelings. I feel a lot better since I stopped and I've lost some weight doing nothing but not drinking soda.

I can't find the article, but if you're drinking so much that all you're peeing is water, then you're drinking more than you need to drink.

Yes, but normally it can be due to age, underlying medical conditions, medications, or overhydrating from intense physical activity. There have been deaths from drinking contests, so stressing your body that way can also cause it.

I think you mean this.
Drink water in moderation. Drinking water is vital for your health, so make sure you drink enough fluids. But don't overdo it. Thirst and the color of your urine are usually the best indications of how much water you need. If you're not thirsty and your urine is pale yellow, you are likely getting enough water.
