It was a solid fall finale, but nothing fantastic. The final surprise was unexpected and good, though.

The death scene was pretty stupid and cheesy, I agree.

I just had a mental image of Annalise seeing Wes running back to the house out the window and scampering over to pose at her desk when he walks in:

There's some truly cringe-worthy dialogue and character development going on in this series, but it's somehow entertaining enough to keep watching.
