I've been wondering how the translation is being done in Europe. Do they translate all languages (german, italian, french, spanish mostly) seperately from japanese or do they translate to english first and from there to the others? May sound stupid but quite often US is out long before the EU release, and i recon it's a lot easier and cheaper (also faster) to translate from english.

I know that all european translations (or at least the 5 i mentioned) are done in their EU HQ in Germany.

I cannot speak for NOE, of course, but in my experience pretty much all translation into the "big 5" Euro languages is based off the English version.

I know, that there are also Japanese-German translators.
