Humble Nintendo Indie Bundle for the Americas

"All America... Except Brazil"

Nintendo really hates Brazil, I wonder why. Microsoft thrives here, and Sony is probably doing well... Nintendo simply don't care.

Intriguing move, and given the eShop logo that suggests that Nintendo are directly involved with this, at least at some level. Disappointing that it's US only, but there's a certain inevitability to that.

This is fantastic! I was saying to my girlfriend a few mounts ago that the console makers should do a humble bundle sale. I always thought Sony would be the first to do,but good on Nintendo and those indies.

wow, great guys.

i already own nearly every game iam interested in on steam/psn.

would have been cool, if they would have offered it world wide since i would have gifted it to my little sister.

Fuck you, Reggie! I want these games in Europe, too!

At least we'll get Woolly World before you, but then again, you got Kirby before us. I think we need a PAL vs. NTSC battle in Splatoon event.

I've been honestly wondering for maybe a few years now why this hadn't happened, glad to see Nintendo take the first step

A region-locked humble bundle is terrible. To me it seems to partially defeat the point of the bundles in the first place.

They long ago abandoned "the point" of the bundles when the first Windows-only bundle without DRM-free games was their most successful by far.

Only America is a stupid decision :\

All of those games are available on the European eShop as well, so why they're not able to give out PAL codes I do not understand.

Isn't Brazil a PAL country basically? Or am I remembering this wrong?

Dem taxes are pretty insane. I would wager that has something to do with it. Had a friend there tell me a 3DS costs about the equivalent of $400 or something due to import taxes.

Woah Dave! is a stinker but Guacamelee! and Mighty Switch Force! are totally worth it.

I'll definitely be letting a friend know as we were talking about the latter games not too long ago.

Nintendo of America can't. Honestly, I'm shocked they got one branch of Nintendo to play ball with them. Getting multiple branches would have been unbelievable.

Yeah I know. I'm just baffled that
1. They couldn't get NoA and NoE to communicate and both participate in this and
2. Still decided to go ahead despite the region locking

This isn't hwat humble should be about and I'm really disappointed

Brazilian, but canadian (eShop wise), so I just bought it! Never expected that from Nintendo, awesome.

edit: quote for YUMMY if you want to get caught red handed!

Woot Canada :)

This is great! In for 10$!

How does the Humble Bundle work like, 10$ for all of this seems cheap, do developers & Ninty get paid lol?

it aint that. Brazil has their own eshop, thus separated región. rest of SA acts as NA

still dont know any brazilian who didnt register their 3ds as NA tho

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship, Stealth Inc. 2, OlliOlli are really great games. And the Wii U implementation of Steamworld Dig is fantastic. Great bundle, for those of you with a matching eShop...

This is the last company I expected to be involved with Humble Bundle.

Hopefully it sells well to get Microsoft and Sony to try it also.

So how are the 3DS version of all these games? Good? No loss of quality (ala Shovel Knight) or are there versions of these I should only pick up on console? Then again I'm not even sure I have enough room on my SD card LOL

Awesome move except the region locking part. I feel for the poor saps that spent all that money on Moon Chronicles.

I would hope that other companies are going to learn from this and not region lock bundles, ideally, the companies where region will be a issue (Sony and Nintendo) will communicate and make sure its worldwide

Probably not gonna buy any game in this bundle standalone either, I'll probably even stop making purchases at Humble store etc too
