Humble Nintendo Indie Bundle for the Americas

Screw you and your region-locking bullshit, Nintendo. Just when I start thinking well of them (Zero localisation), they always remind me why I should dislike and avoid them. Now they've tainted Humble Bundle with their crap.

I have an OlliOlli code for Wii U and one for 3ds. First come first serve, just PM me and tell me which one you want.

edit - both taken

Yeah this is weird. There have been plenty of sales on PSN that were EU exclusive but I've never been one to be particularly upset about it. I feel if people wait or POLITELY forward their concerns to Nintendo we could see this open up to EU as well.

Hell, there have been quite a few EU sales from Nintendo that NA didn't get.

lol at everyone complaining of region locks. Its a NOA thing that they are doing. Blame NOJ for having region locks and NOE for not signing up for this event and chill out.

Anywayz: Really want to get in but no cc atm, only amazon credit.

*Sees that you can pay with amazon credit and has 13 days left to order.*

:o
:O

Oh my.

A) I hope this does well so it can eventually happen in Europe.

B) This shouldn't have been a thing if it can't be for NA and EU!

One of these attitudes is more helpful than the other IMHO.

Debating I own most of those games (all the ones I want), but sorta want to grab for a Mighty Switch Force code for one of my kids.

Hmmmm

Goddamn, US only :( they need to make this happen for other regions even if it was a slightly different bundle as I know Moon Chronicles isn't even available in Europe from what I can see on my 3DS?

If Humble had chosen A) we would have a bundle where you can make a choice between American and European codes. More than likely they are just eager to accept any proposition to open the door to lucrative console markets.

Everyone in this thread gets to experience what it feels to be under NoA. For the first time ever, they do something that neither NCL or NoE do better.

NOA and NOE are different things guys

fuck NOE, in any case. I doubt HB didnt reach them too

it's pretty god damn amazing that Nintendo is the first console partner to do this with HB. no hate here

Bought. $10. No hesitations. As both a Wii U and New 3DS owner... I thank you, NOA :3

More like this!
The Europeans are one again jealous of American Freedom.

We Americans are still jealous of their superior giveaways and promos, especially for physical items like pre-order incentives :(

Awesome of Nintendo.
Just sad that, as usual, they're taking more steps backwards for not including other territories.

Region lock sucks, but Nintendo being the first to do it on consoles? Fantastic! It should be a good sign for the future.

Not really anything I want but it is cool to see nintendo jumping in on humble bundle first despite the region lock mess lol

Edit: this is a main 2 week bundle ehh should of made it its own thing.

I wonder if it's Nintendo, Humble, or the publishers' fault for not providing other-region-codes for this Humble Bundle.

I mean, for whatever reason NOE didn't want to be part of this (unless they didn't get contacted or something). I think this bundle doing well could change their mind in the future, it's all.

So everyone saying fuck you NoE, do we know already what we'll have this week for eShop? And do we know for certain that NoE won't do something like this in the future, have they confirmed it? If no, then what the fuck is the problem again?

BOUGHT!!! Let me support them so they can make one for Europe...

... not me tempted to buy more of this =/

Glad to see they're doing this, although it feels like a weak selection of games. Not because the games are bad (they're not) but because it feels like I already got just about everything on the list on other platforms via PS+ or from dirt-cheap Steam sales.

Is the entire bundle EU/JPN approved and certified?

If the answer is "No" to any one of the items in the bundle, then it was doomed to be US only just because rating agencies and certifications.

I feel the same way, but whatever. Never thought the first Humble console bundle would be a Nintendo one!

Hmm... I only own one of the games in the list. I might bite on this.

But first, I really need to invest in an external hard drive.
