Sunday, after our weekly grocery run, I was unloading the haul and noticed Hunts had been purchased instead of Heinz ketchup. I was speechless. I thought it was understood in pretty much every household across the globe that Heinz is by far the superior condiment and Hunts is the equivalent of rotting whale bile.
I questioned the buyer and apparently it was purchased because "it was on sale."
I'm not normally quick to anger, but I could feel my temper building. I wasn't mad at her, but more the grocery store for even stocking such crap and having the gall to put it on sale to entice unwitting patrons.
Neither. This stuff:

and it tastes so goodPeople actually care about this stuff? Ketchup is a garbage condiment anyways, it's all just sugar and vinegar with some tomatoes.
Daddys.. or Chips?
French's.
Heinz closed all their factories in my area so fuck them.
Why you hate me ronabo???Heinz, the only good thing to come outta Pittsburgh.
These days, I stick to 78 Red Ketchup. It packs a ton of flavor.

In terms of Heinz vs Hunts, though, Heinz 10 times out of 10. Hunts is gross and weirdly sweet. Not a fan.
Yup.
I was expecting a Canadian to reply with that.
I have yet to try French's ketchup, mostly because I have yet to come across it. It's sold out pretty much everywhere.
Is this some kind of sex thing?
Heinz is in our fridge right now, we pick it up without a second thought.
I assume people also debate whether it should be kept cold or at room temperature.
People debate settled arguments all the time (to-go tipping, global warming, defecating in the shower, clapping after movies).
Heinz should be kept cold in the fridge.
Q: Do I need to refrigerate Ketchup?
A: Because of its natural acidity, Heinz® Ketchup is shelf-stable. However, its stability after opening can be affected by storage conditions. We recommend that this product, like any processed food, be refrigerated after opening. Refrigeration will maintain the best product quality after opening.
Simply Heinz ketchup, French's mustard.
