I believe in Tim Tebow

I guess all the hate is because Tebow is a better person than 99% of people out there? Seriously I had no idea he did all the stuff in the article, but I would be willing to bet none of the 'haters' ever do half as much for those either dying or in need.

I'm sure if Tebow realized any of the people he's helping were gay he'd immediately stop helping them.

I believe he's touched that many cocks.

Of young Filipino boys.

Oh man this is so funny because it's true. They even had reporters onsite when he was circumcising those kids. Lots of pinoys want to love him but he's baptist which makes pinoys think he's a bit of a looney. A lot of them wish that he was roman catholic instead.

Yes.

Every Tebow hater is an anti-conformist tool, because he is legitimately a good human being.

It's funny that thugs in the NFL and NBA can get a slap on the wrist and still be considered idols, and yet a genuinely good person like Tim Tebow can get dogpiled just because he didn't listen to the critics and succeeded in spite of them. And please, the virgin thing is 100% his own choice. A mid-tier NCAA starter can pull better tail than anyone on this forum, let alone a Heisman winner in the Southeastern Conference.

I'm not even a Broncos fan (although I do like Tebow because he's from the SEC), but fuck the haters, Tim Tebow is a good guy and I hope he has a great NFL career ahead of him.

I agree.

Like all false seers, you're formed to fit the plan
Unsuspecting pawns to the detriment of man
And as your worlds collide
War will bring the suffering
And to that end I'll crucify
I'll crucify the king

Let all your children pray
You've washed their sins away
I'll bring the suffering
Let all your children pray
I don't come their way
I'll crucify their king

I really doubt that, since there are zero stories of Tebow using his Christianity to hate peddle like most Christians in America.

The only thing people can point to is the abortion ad with his mom. And considering the fact that Tebow wouldn't even exist if his mom had gotten an abortion, like recommended, I can understand him doing the ad. The ad itself never even mentioned the word abortion.

But nobody even considered the fact he's virgin because he couldn't get laid lol. That's obviously not the case.

He measures his words very, very carefully. Always.

He is a virgin because he lost his penis in a goat biting accident on his farm as a kid.

I don't hate him as a person, I don't like him as a player. He's so bad! Matt Prater and the defense should be getting as much credit as Tebow.

He's a terrible QB who is only well liked because he is a prototypye of the "always in your face about it" christianity.

So just understand that christians. You, nor anyone in your family, nor any other christian athlete before Tebow, has been as good a christian as he is. You don't compare to him the same way every other christian athlete doesn't compare to Tebow. He is the perfect christian and you are not. That is why he is more well liked than every other christian QB (which would be pretty much every other QB that ever played the game) even though the vast majority of those QB's were better than he is.

buys them dinner (usually at a Dave and Buster's)

That is fucking awful...

ESPN employs only the absolute worst of the worst, it is company policy. Fortunately for them, the average sports fan is mentally disabled.

LOL it's ironic because I get Brazilian ESPN. When Tebow was named the starter I read an article on ESPN-BR that made me lose the will to live. I think I died a little that day. I'm so happy internet exists and I don't have to watch the games on my ESPN, and they never show the Broncos anyway.

I'm going to be conflicted but my dislike of Tebow outweighs my hate of the Patriots. Its really a lose lose though.

"Didnt know Tebow is a blvr in our Lord Jesus. Dont be surprisd if Denver wins d big game this yr. God delights in those who r not bashful abt Him in public."
From my dad, who is as yet unaware of my irreligiousness. Makes it pretty easy.

intentions aside its nice that he's taking time to make others with a tough life feel special. dont really think TT is too concerned about the outcome of tomorrow's game, win or lose he'll still be the same guy doing good for others.
Like only a handful of people actually read in the OP about how he goes out of his way in giving people seriously suffering amazing VIP treatment. How can you hate a person who takes as much time as he can to help a person cope how disastrously shitty their life is.

His ridiculous popularity at the expense of better performing QBs in the league, over coverage in the media, and the chirping of annoying fans, I feel, is a small price to pay for amount of pure good he tries to bring to everyone he meets.

I mean for the people who reflexively are "fuck Teblow", is your personal consumption of the NFL so important that you can't appreciate how special what is going on now with Tim Tebow? Given how fast defenses adjust and how slow he's picking up the passing game, you know this probably won't go past mid-season next year anyway.

I am an atheist and I can still get over my dislike of his in your face religious attitude because he actually does so many good things. Now if he brought over poor Asian children and tried gave them charity, food and a home and then tried to convert them than I could see why you could have a problem with his spiritual nature. This guy just spreads love.

It's not about Tebow it's about religion, religion, religion. Praise the lord hallelujah I'm going to name my child Tebow Jesus and force him to play football at the catholic all buy school.
Really? I thought the article was more about the kind things that Tebow is doing for these people.

EDIT: Oh wait... you're talking about Tebow in general, aren't you?

This phenomena doesn't have so much to do with Tebow as it does for Christian America to elevate and exalt champions of the faith. It's becoming pervasive in all forms of entertainment, sport, and politics. Other QBs don't exist in their worldview. Tebow is the greatest Christian football player on earth to them, emphasis on Christian rather than football.

If he's doing all that outreach with sick people then I think that's pretty swell. Good for him.
