I give up. I find my cousin more sexually attractive than my GF and she dumps me?

wait, you're sexually attracted to your cousin?

do I have that right?

No dude he was joking it was obviously a joke hahaha just like all the old times they used to joke like that until she mysteriously stopped talking to him and wasn't even his friend on Facebook and he had to go message her asking to be her friend because they used to be so close and the joking about her being sexy was clearly mutual and not uncomfortable in the slightest

I wonder, is that normal, partners/spouses forbidding the other person from locking their phone? I mean I keep my phone locked as matter of course (thumbprint scanners make this easy), but my wife could get into it if she needed to, and vice versa me for her phone. We just don’t, because we A) trust each other and B) respect each other’s stuff.
Forbidding anything is not normal. People need to realize that. Every now and then when I read stuff like "I can't buy/do XYZ because my wife will get angry" I'm shaking my head. What's up with these people? My wife and me both don't PIN lock our phones, but I don't look into her stuff and she doesn't look into my stuff. We respect each other's privacy.

" And also, you are sexually more attractive than her, LOL"

Usually, I'm all for being critical of clingy partners with trust issues demanding to have access to PINs and passwords and whatnot...

...but you can't really make that the issue when it comes out that the boyfriend is giving legit reasons to be that distrustful.

Girlfriend was suspicious because she knew something was up, and she wasn't wrong.

Is there a summary I missed? Read through the first hundred posts, but after reading the last 50ish more seemed to be revealed and I'm not really up to reading 200 more posts.

Just a joke defence doesn't really hold up here. Hitting on your cousin and insulting your girlfriend in the process. Who's supposed to be laughing here?

Then again, there is no reason to go through someone's personal stuff. Having trust issues? Break up and move on.

What if... What if the cousin is like really attractive. And I mean, really, really attractive. The kind where even your Grandma says "Damn, she's fuckable"
Then it would be less of a statement of attraction but simply a stated fact.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

OP just extraordinarily goofed.

I've never known a person to say something when they were drunk that was totally out of character for them when they were sober. They might say publicly what they normally say privately or they might be more blunt, things like that. I guess what I mean to say is that maybe this wasn't strike one.

yes. She always would watch me whenever I went on my phone. I was not allowed to have a lock key on my phone when she did. She would get mad at me at say a store cause another woman looked at me.

She was so insecure and have been burned in the past sooooo many times I think the very second she found something. ANYTHING, she convinced herself

" See, all men at the same!"

You're a red flag for not standing up about your phone.

She's a red flag for crying about the phone

You guys are better off, take it as a learning experience. You'll feel just as strong about someone else. Can't cross off women just after one experience.

Wow, you guys are being way too hard on OP. It's not like he told his cousin that she was more sexually attractive than his live in GF - the one he considers to be "the one".

Urk, I don't know how some people are enjoying this. I am really cringing at this.

OP definitely messed up here, and the girlfriend is definitely not crazy. I am amazed at how oblivious OP sounds.

Girlfriend: Hey, let's go out with our friends tonight.
OP: Nah bitch, I wanna get wasted and play Ninja Gaiden with my bro and then hit up my cousin for a possible booty call.
*time passes*

"GAF, why did my girlfriend leave me?"

Also I think women are crazy. All women are crazy and I don't even know if I find them attractive anymore to be honest.
wow, you guys are like twins

sorry OP. you'll learn from it and become a better person xoxo
