Ok, just got 150 stars...

What the Hell? So all I get is three measley 1-ups, and a flower box? At least on the N64, I got to see Yoshi fart-off over the side (which I always found hilarious), after giving me 100 lives, and the ability to have stars come out of my butt on my triple jump!

And I thought Luigi's rabbit would give me the mother of all mini games, but what is it? some remix of the worst mini game there be! (how is it even different?)

So what else have I missed?

Anyway, cool game, and I really got used to the touchpad controls by the end. Very nice (still, not as good as a new analogue stick - but better than a crusty old one). The other control methods were also alright. Found myself using them both on ocassion.

If you go into Peach's room she'll flash her boobs to you, but only if you get the magical 151st star.

And then as a bonus Nintendo has an unlockable Paris Hilton sex tape exclusive to the Nintendo DS which will start playing.

It's not a lot, Nintendo probably could've done more with it, but its not bad.

Technically speaking, I think there are 151 stars - I don't think the final Bowser star (the one that initiates the endgame sequence) counts towards the tally.

Actually, I think I'm more complaining that the ending IS different. I would've preferred some obsucre Mario character like Birdo or something up there, give me 100 lives, and a starry butt. It wasn't much the first time around, but this time, it's even less! And for more work! Kidding aside, I think many of the stars were actually made easier to get, mostly because of Yoshi and luigi, and there flutter jumps. I'm sure the game mechanics were tweaked to be a bit better. I think the camera was improved.

Anyway, leaving out a GOOD mini game to unlock may have been a better idea.
