I finished my new build, and it's unfortunate that I'm out today because from some short testing last night the 9070 XT Nitro+ gets very loud at high load. My plan was always to reign it in for efficiency but I really need to get this thing to relax.
Did a couple of initial tests goes as per Tech Yes's video but had crashes, but as they were very quick "Let's see if his conservative settings work for me" tests I changed multiple things at once. Need to devote some real time into dialing this back.
I really hope I can get a stable undervolt and a reliable fan curve for a low noise ceiling because it's extremely off-putting hearing it ramp up. There's a small part of me that thinks it would be easier to return it for a base 9070 and enjoy the more efficient and lower power draw starting point, but let's see how I get on.
