I need help getting to my Outlook Express email files.

You can set Outlook express to save all your emails to a folder.
Tools>maintainace>store folder
That'll back up your emails, when you get a new hdd and reinstall windows, just load the store folder up and you'll have your emails back.
I think you can also click file>export>messages, that might work too but you'll have to select the emails you want to save.

Go to folder options and turn on view system files and hidden files. Then go:
Documents and Settings -> Your Name -> Local Settings -> Application Data -> Identities -> One of the Folders that pops up -> Microsoft -> Outlook Express
You emails are in the dbx files. You'll have to download some program that can extract dbx files.

I thought outlook used pst files? is that full outlook not express?
