I've been searching for maybe and hour and all I found was a very confusing tortilla method (if you've tried to do this you know what i'm talking about).

My story
I found out that samsung set my Harddrive in ATA100 mode (even though it is a ATA133). It wasn't by accident, they just do this for some reason.
So I found the untility to change it but it needs to be copied to a floppy disk (Being the genius I am i decided not to put a floppy drive in). So now I've been trying get dos to boot through a cd so I can access the utility either from my HD (NTFS) or the CD. I've tried just putting the files i got from Samsung on a CD but still nothing.

I would perfer a DOS bootable CD so if o ever have this problem i can just pop in the DOS CD and not make a new evertime.

Try using IBM/Hitachi's Drive Fitness Test CD:

At the least, you can try booting that, then swapping in your own CD.
At best, you can use its template to make your own bootable CD.
