I was followed home by a UFO last night and I'm freaked out.

aliens from outer space don't exist, they are more likely to be demonic entities taking the guise of 'space aliens'

stay safe, OP

I'm a little confused why people are going out of their way to be assholes in this thread? I don't necessarily believe aliens followed OP home but I don't really understand the reason for the rude comments. Even if its just a drone, I think i would be a little freaked out if somebody had a drone follow me to my house, even if they were just fucking around.

Some people are heavily invested (in both sides) you see the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial beings around us means alot of things to different people.
Religion is wrong, The government was covering this.
Society will collapse in no time.

Ive seen a few OP. One time was cool, the other time was scary.

Its like when people think they know how a game plays without ever actually playing it and judge people for liking how it plays. Annoying AF.

A few months back, 2 friends visited and we were walking around and having a laugh at night as you do. As we were on our way back home, we all saw a red light in the sky ahead of us. There were multiple lights on the thing, mostly red with a few green and maybe 7 in total but overall the dominant colour was red. The lights kinda puIsed too. I questioned what it was and the 2 friends said "it'll be a crane or something" but seeing as they don't know the area at all, I said that can't possibly be the case. It was hovering, deadly still, behind some trees and you could make it out quite well. Just as we were pointing at it, it pulled a move like reversing out of a bay in a car park and started flying away from us in a really smooth motion.

We tried to follow it but the road layout and the houses obscured our view and we lost it within 30 seconds. My friends were convinced it was a UFO, which I guess it technically was, but before we even walked the 10 mins back to my place, they were convinced it was an extra terrestrial. I tried to tell them that the most logical and simple answer is usually the right one. Occam's razor and all that. They didn't have any of it and proceeded to watch many many hours of alien documentaries (incl ancient aliens of course) and egged each other's beliefs on with theories and thoughts about the thing.

After they left, one of the friends resumed his normal life and not another thought was given to it. The other went on a crazy journey of spiritual awakening so to speak and tied this instance in with all the other UFO sightings he'd witnessed in his life. This guy has completely changed his beliefs and some of the stuff he comes out with is utterly ludicrous to me but to each his own I guess. I listened and heard him out and he started going "full hippy" on life (meaning no offense of course. Just can't think of how to put it). He was meditating (to the point of seeing "beings" from another dimension) and reading books about all sorts of mad shit like astral projection and really burying himself into this new lifestyle and belief structure. He'd tell me about his new spirit guide who is a dragonfly looking creature that he'd talk to through some form of telepathy and who explained that beings can shift through dimensions, up or down to a certain degree. He retroactively told me that when he saw the UFO, it felt like he had stepped through a semi permeable membrane, for lack of a better term and that he'd had some connection with it. He told me in a recent phone conversation that the sighting had legitimately changed his life and that it had confirmed things that he'd thought about for years.

I didn't have the heart to tell him. I saw a guy flying a drone in the same area, with the same lights, about 3 weeks later.

You have to tell him. Could be amazing.

He won't believe you probs.

Thats quite the transition dude made in just a few months after seeing a UFO. Psychedelics must have been involved.

Also, even if it wasnt an alien he saw in the sky and it was just a drone. The fact that it was unexplainable when they saw it can be enough to cause someone to question things. That can lead down a rabbit hole of introspection and delving into the consciousness.

I dont think telling them would change thei perception on life much at this point. They are probably too woke at this point.

I've seen only one UFO, but living relatively close to military bases, it was almost certainly government aircraft testing.

Does anyone remember the guy who posted he was going to die and saw vans and shit outside his house? Even had videos of them. Anyone have a link to the thread?

Oh wait, you mean the guy who thought someone else was living in his apartment but had no idea how and then recorded a video of his house while he was gone and uploaded it for gaf to see? I would like to know how that story ended.

I don't know exactly what this is but I remember two examples (although they're probably both from Reddit): one where a family actually did catch a homeless woman on security cameras, living in some empty spaces between their walls and sneaking out at night to steal food (this was actually real - there were news articles and interviews with the police and everything), and another where someone thought someone was living in his house, messing with his stuff and leaving cryptic notes everywhere. He turned out, after someone in the comments recognized some symptoms and urged him to go to the Doctor, to be suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. He was leaving all the weird notes himself and forgot about it afterwards. If a random internet user didn't take his story seriously and thought about it critically, he could have actually died.

Edit: here's a link to the second story, and the guy later posted some updates after he got better. It's pretty famous so the other entries should be easy to find with some googling, but I'm working right now: https://np.reddit.com/r/legaladvice...tit_notes_left_in_apartment/cqvrdz6?context=3

Wow, the second story is so crazy.

No video?

Everyone carries a phone with them in this day and age, and if this happened you would whip that bad boy right out and start filming, yet here we are, with no proof.

I know people say this a lot, so for fun i tried to use my phone, it's not the best phone or anything (note4), and tried to film an airplane at night. The video was basically all dark, i didn't even pick up the shape of the plane. It looked like a extremely blurry spot.

Maybe someone with a better phone can try it out.

We hope you like the world we have created for you to make you feel at home whilst you are in stasis. I thought the Neo was a fantastic idea to convince you that you are still in the real world. Don't worry if you feel a slight pinching half way down your left arm, it's just your imagination. Sweet dreams.

well then you're shit out of luck in getting people to believe you.

That's the problem.

I don't blame people for not believing in UFOs. But people make it too easy. "Well why didn't you just film it?", i would like to see them in the same situation.

I saw one once and trust me, the only thing i was thinking of was to run away as fast as i could. I know i will never have the proofs, but i'm 100% sure that i saw something that night. I don't know what it was (i'm not claiming it was aliens or whatever, because i'm a rational person and in fact i don't have proofs), but it was there in front of my eyes. It's just a bit frustrating how people act when you tell them, like if you are some sort of drug addicted, alcoholic or crazy person, that's it lol.

Listen I think most here would want to believe in Ghost and UFO's, but we need some evidence or at least a consisted theory to hold onto.
And I'm sure a lot of people are waiting to unload on no.4 but maybe now, not the best time.

As many others have said, the simplest explanation is most likely. Hell, I've seen things in the sky late at night before that I wasn't necessarily sure of what it was, but I'm absolutely positive that it wasn't aliens. Never really given it much thought. I just assumed it was some type of drone/air craft/satellite or even natural phenomenon. No reason to suspect that visitors from another planet are following you.

Seriously, if this continues to bother you talk to a professional. I'm not saying this to be a dick. The human imagination is one hell of a drug.

I hate when someone uses the "why would aliens bother random person living in random place" as if to say that person is insignificant compared to the rest of our species when viewed by another technologically superior species.

Guess what, none of us would matter to them! As if they would pull up to the planet and go "hmm who should we observe from this primitive planet? Oh right, the president of so and so country (or) Oh right, person that won nobel prize for science (or) Oh right, this famous actor etc etc"

Like, do our researchers go out and only study the most prominent members or beings within a certain species? Of course not.

IMO it's a ridiculous and lazy counter argument.

No idea what the OP saw though, and full disclosure I've also seen a UFO, appeared to be up in the outer atmosphere though so who knows what it was.
Hence why they're called "UFO"s
But I don't assume any UFO is aliens or anything like that, especially in this day and age it's more likely to be some fucking drone or something.

OP, what you describe makes it sound like it was really fucking close to you and your car. Next time throw rocks at it and see if you can hit it?

What is this? I'm curious now.
Sorry for late reply, but:
>Guy makes posts on facebook saying he needs protection/to not be surprised if he is found dead
>Has video of vans pointing weird ass cameras at his house
>Ends up dead

Saw it on a thread here a while ago. Don't remember evrything.

Can you imagine how fun it would be as an alien in a spacecraft, with say a few hundred thousand years more advanced, roaming around to other planets and basically laughing at and trolling simpletons like us here in earth.

I bet alien YouTube is full of great trolls.

I just wanna say, I don't think anyone is doubting your claim that you saw something you can't identify. No one would doubt that because it happens to everyone.

However, when you say things like
I was always on the fence about all this stuff until tonight but now I'm a legit believer.

I had to check YT to see if others have had this same experience and at least two videos I watched described my experience to a T. I haven't even told anybody I actually know about it because I think they'll think I'm crazy. I've never seen anything until I started researching this stuff on YT and talking about it with my Uncle (also a believer) for the past year or so. The orange light now feels like maybe it was a test to see if I'd notice it because it was 3 a.m. (I go to work early) and I was the only one in my neighborhood outside at that moment. I'll be really curious now to see if this becomes a constant thing. I mean it was so obvious that it was letting me know that it knows that I know. Just crazy!

]I think that's why it followed me, because I waved and smiled at it. Look I'm not going to say it 100% wasn't a drone but it just didn't look or feel like that was a drone.

And I would've said the same thing after last night. I still hope you're right but I'm still freaked out.

And remember guys, UFO doesn't mean alien, it just means I could't Identify it and it was flying. The fact that it followed me and made sure to let me know it was following me is my cause for concern. If it was a prank than good on them because they punk'd my ass good.

I appreciate the posters giving me the benefit of the doubt. This is Gaf so I knew there'd be trolls but hey, they still checked out the thread right so that says something.

I didn't post this to prove the existence of aliens or UFOs, I posted this because in my 32 years I've never had an experience that even comes close to what happened last night and I needed to get it off my chest. I haven't even mentioned it to my family because I know they'll just shrug it off and think I'm crazy.

I really do hope it was a drone. But what if it wasn't? The real test is if this happens again and like I said, I have my real video camera ready to go.

You sound like a crazy person. You honestly think this thing followed you home because you smiled and waved at it? And it saw that from hundreds of feet above? You need to speek to a psychatrist becasure you're not thinking ratinoally. These are the thoughts of a crazy person. Seriously, speak to someone. Stop listening to your UFO inner circle friends for a while and go speak to a doctor.

It followed me from around the USF area all the way to Wesley Chapel, basically the whole way down Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and then onto SR 56 and then home.

My sister lives in Wesley chapel and I have been down that road many times. I want to believe, maybe next time I am there I go orb hunting.

But come on man it's nothing, it's just some drone. There are no aliens or super secret government aircraft following you. The fun should be in figuring out exactly what it is and not fear it.

EDIT: seems there is some government air base there so probably that.

It's fairy folk. You're their king. REMEMBER!

Back in 89 me and a bunch of kids in my neighbourhood say a giant black disk zig zag across the sky then disappear over the horizon. Was weird.

"I've never seen anything until I started researching this stuff on YT and talking about it with my Uncle (also a believer) for the past year or so."

Seems kind of contradictory if it happened just last night. Because you're acting like you were a total non believer before it happened, last night yet At the very least you've had ufos on your mind for the past year, that's if you didn't outright believe in such things already.

Btw,I know UFOs exist but UFO =//= aliens or government conspiracy.

I don't wanna be completely dismissive based on one sentence, but I had a coworker a while back who said he'd been "researching" government conspiracies and that a few days after, he started to get tailed by an unmarked van. I was like, there's a lot of vans, are you sure it's the same van? He told me that he memorized the number plate once he started noticing it.

I mean... we went to the same workplace 5 days a week, maybe he did actually memorize that plate, but like, it's a van, maybe it was just used around the area, doing jobs, that you might do in a van.

He ended up seeing people "tailing" him everywhere. Try not to become one of those people OP.

i've never understood people who believe in fucking aliens from millions and billions and trillions of millions away that landed here on this shitty rock in the middle of nowhere rather than the dozens of plausible explanations for why he had something "following" him late at night

If you're intending to come off as logical, "this shitty rock" is literally the best world that we have ever even detected. There are plenty of reasons why aliens would visit Earth. Abductions, political meddling and the like is a different story.

As for the OP, I guess we can say he was followed home by swamp gas / a weather balloon / a chinese lantern. Seriously though, isn't there a huge military base near Tampa? Not that a UFO couldn't be operated but the USofA, because I think that's a more plausible explanation for many of these things than....gas...but yeah. It's likely some next gen military craft.

Update: I got video gaffers! It followed me to work this morning. Flew right over as I parked. A few of my buddies at work saw it too. Nobody can explain it. I'm at work now but will post later when I get off. Fucking crazy!

For next time, do you have a powerful flashlight with a focused beam? Because if you do, you can really find out whether it's a drone or not.
