Many people have been constantly throwing chit at MS for many years, in a sense rightfully so, but let's be fair and call their virtues too.

I'm a PlayStation guy all the way, but I recently bought a Series X just for the full Gears of War saga and a bit of Forza Horizon. I love Gears of War.

Man, the games look absolutely incredible. The OG Trilogy runs at 4K@60 through their backwards program and let me just say the games have a new life. They look and play so clean and beautiful, I prefer them far to the first three Uncharted games.

Not a fan of Gears 4 and 5, but still worthwhile games and Hivebusters is mindblowing. Jesus Christ that game on OLED looks and run so beautiful.

The console is honestly a great machine, it's super well built, love the monolithic uber-minimalistic design, it's quiet and blends in. UI is super fluid and also looks great, on par with PS5.

This is by no means a true rival to PS5, but there are jewels here you can't find anywhere else. I find it sad people just want to trash everything.

In a perfect world I would be able to enjoy all of this on my PlayStation, but we're not there. Maybe someday. In the meantime, they made a great console.

Yeah, I have had XSX from launch and it’s mostly my BC machine for games stretching back to Xbox OG.

Gears of War series is the only Xbox exclusive game series I like at all. Never been a fan of the Halo Gaylo series. Sorry I just think it's stupid. But with the rumors of Halo and Gears of War series coming to PS5 or later PS6, well that destroys the Xbox brand. You gotta admit Microsoft was cool with the Xbox. But with releasing there games multi plat, well Xbox is gonna die. Now if you didn't know Microsoft already said they plan there next Xbox release this holliday 2025 already. I bet it won't sell well or even worse than the Xbox Series S and X did. Maybe Microsoft will finally wake up and go you know we are losing millions of dollars, we did the last 4 years, and now not making our profit back on these consoles even. Then they will finally realize they need to leave the console business because they are not making enough profit from it!

Who cares what anybody says, if you personally enjoy playing games on Xbox then that’s all that matters regardless what some random people on internet say.

it’s your life enjoy whatever system you want, stop caring what anybody else thinks.

Maybe because those games were developed by an outside development studio. Microsoft owns the IP, but EPIC made those games.
I'm not saying that's the reason. Just offering that info as a possible contributing factor.

I may actually pick one up IF it gets a massive price reduction. I still have my Xbox One X and replayed the original Red Dead Redemption on it a few years ago and it's basically a next gen remaster. I really really wish they continued their BC program because that is where I find the most value out of an Xbox, they really did a great job with that feature.

Gears was cool back in the 360 days.

A complete lack of new ideas hurt the series for me. I pushed myself through Gears 4, and later 5 and Hive Busters.

As far as third person shooters go I had way more fun with Outriders and Remnant.
