I don't want to spoil anything if I do buy it.
General impressions are good. We aren't seeing the negative that red steel saw for instance and there are no impressions from sites that are so otherworldy positive that we know they are in the tank.

I hope this turns out to be the surprise sleeper hit at launch. It has a great concept behind it.

Not a bad idea but a farm would get you plenty of meat, eggs, veggies etc.
Bows and arrows would be essential though, as would be horsies to work the land. Forget about petrol, that's going to run out pretty quick. You'd need access to a library because we're going back hundreds of years in terms of farming and because you're going to need to educate children.
And we're not too far away from 12th day of the 12th month 2012, the day when all this is going to kick off.
Doesn't give those of us living in the UK a lot of days to play the zombie apocalypse simulator before the real thing starts!!! :Oo

Nah, don't just want it here in the UK. I want the sequel to be set in Paris, too many Brits getting killed in Assassins Creed 3 and ZombiU...I want to kill a few Frenchmen in the next game!!!

This game has went from "meh, may as well try it" to my most anticipated title for Wii U. I honestly can't wait to get the game in my hands now.

This game is going to be huge imo. And games released in November are always likely to be nominated for GOTY Awards too. I'm expecting it to have sold over a million before Christmas, easily...which should show publishers that third party software of decent quality with decent marketing aimed at the 'hardcore' demographic will be a success on the Wii U.

It's going to do nothing in Japan. You think there will even be a million Wii Us in NA + Europe by Christmas? Even if there were, it's not getting a 1:1 tie ratio.

Hmmm.... That's a tough one. I could see Skylanders Giants, Just Dance 4, Sing Party, Scribblenauts, Black Ops 2, Assassins Creed 3, Sonic Racing Transformed, and even Arkham City having a good shot of selling well. But I think you will end up being correct, especially if we are only talking about 2012.

it is not even my kind of game but I am buying it.
I am going to try to purchase games that I do not normally purchase as a Nintendo fan on Wii U. COD is really not my thing so I don't thing getting it will make a difference in voting for core on Wii U but when you have an exclusive like this the core should support it.

Call me crazy but I dont think casual games are gonna be the top sellers on WiiU atleast early on.
Remember WiiU sold out preorders before the ads start hitting and WiiU has a lot of core games and a lot of them kids will get from parents also.
I can see NSMB, ZombiU and COD being the top three

I really hope this proves true... I want to see games like GTAV get a chance to come over. No need to give those guys more reasons to shut out the platform for casual successes only
