over leaving the greatness that is the single life with apartment to moving in with a girl.. twice in the past week, i've woken up thinking, "do i really want to do this??"

granted, it's a two bedroom-two bath, pretty spacious(1400 sq ft) apartment, but i feel as if i'm about to lose ALL of my privacy.

i've already signed the lease papers...fuck, this feels like marriage.

anyone else go through this?? is it as bad as my dreams?

You're fucked. I hope you get to at least fuck her.

I'm currently doing it. 2 years now actually. You get used to it. I dont even mind it. Sure some of the TV programming is questionable, but it's not like we only have 1 TV. Plus yeah, I get to fuck her...haha

I'm in the same boat. Been living with my girlfriend for the last 3 years. Things are going great, but we do only have one tv so sometimes I get stuck watching the baby shows in TLC. :(

Sex and the City is a good show.

Wow, you really seem to love it, lol.

I'm living with TWO, count 'em, TWO females. No males. This just started in August. Fortunately their body clocks aren't functioning in unison (my girlfriend is on birth control, other room mate is not). Except for the intermittent psychotic cleaning of my room mate and the occasional air-headed forgetfulness inabillity TO EVER WAKE UP ON TIME of my girlfriend, it's fine. Sometimes I wish I were living alone, but most of the time I'm glad I have her there to cuddle up next to at night.

Anyone who marries someone without living with them first is retarded.

Quoted because people clearly mis-heard GOD when he said "For fucks sake, live with the woman a little bit before you marry her"

I lived with a girl this past school year and had no problems whatsoever. The only time there was any weirdness was when she broke up with her long-distance boyfriend and literally two of her friends (one a guy whom she ended up dating later anyway) and her mother stayed in the apartment for a weekend in order to console her.

Otherwise, our schedules were so different that we didn't run into each other very much until the evening where we had pleasant conversation for a while and then went on our ways to our bedrooms to work.

Of course, she was a law student and I was an electrical engineering grad student so we had plenty of work to do to not bother with having any unnecessary drama.

And I was able to bring boys back to the place anytime I wanted, which is always a plus - particularly when you find this hot little asian boy who gives great head - oh yeah!

well, i won't be bringing any boys over, but she works at a bar, and all of her friends there are smooooooooking. i've already sexxed one up; so i'm hoping she brings her over a few times.. along with the other treats..

there is a system of rules to this:

1) don't live with a girl until you've married her

2) don't marry a girl

i think you'll find that it's consistent

Thinks he should have been the one to kill Batman's parents.

That seems really inappropriate to me.

Actually, I think studies have discovered that people who live together before marriage are actually more likely to get divorced later on.

I won't use the term "retarded", but if you believe what you just wrote, you are seriously fucking mentally handicapped, to the motherfucking extent of possibility.
