In this time of Covid-19, is it safe to pick up Chick-fil-A?

I had Marcos pizza the other night. I picked up the pizza and held my breath during the entire transaction. When I got home, I removed the pizza from the box and baked it in the oven for 15 min at 150F. I tossed the cardboard in a garbage bag and hurled it into a volcano. I then scrubbed my skin with steel wool down to the lowest layer of my epidermis.

They forgot to add the garlic-parmesan to the crust.

just got Chic Fil A on Friday. it was great.

fast food seems to be doing really well. on Saturday we went out to Moe's to pickup some burritos, every fast food place had a huge line through the drive-thru

Me and the mrs ordered in our favourite Greek takeaway tonight, a decision made after a few glasses of champagne. I'd like to think it's highly unlikely that you'd catch it via food delivery but I guess I'll let you all know within the next 2 weeks.

We've got to be able to at the very least keep our favourite restaurants afloat during these tough times, if not whats the point? Imagine getting to the other side and there's nowhere to order a Pizza from anymore?
Best decisions are often made after downing a couple of rounds of alcohol for sure.

I’ve been doing it every day, but just like brap, I don’t live in a big enough place that I really need to go into panic mode about the coronavirus. The drive-thrus are empty and you get your food quick and it’s better than usual. At least in my area.

Makes it taste better.

I've gotten CFA a handful of times during this. It's a gamble but its worth it.

I know the hype has died down a great deal, but the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich is leaps and bounds ahead of anything on Chik-Fil-A's menu.

I would trust them with the food. My only concern is the window transaction.

I went to a donut shop the other morning and the lady at the window had on gloves but I could tell she hadn’t changed all morning.

Instead of letting the employee that prepped my order hand it to me the window lady took it with her dirty gloves and handed it over. I politely told her to keep the change.

Fortunately I had sanitizer in my car so I cleaned my hands. As soon as I got home I moved the donuts into a Tupperware.

I realize this is specific to the establishment but I’m super hesitant to order food out right now all things considered.

I don’t eat Popeyes very often. I haven’t tried the new sandwich but my wife said it was pretty good. I work much Closer to chick fil a so it’s become the default.

It's as safe as anything else.

Although I can't condone the purchasing of anything from a religious based (christianity in particular) organization.

I literally get fast food every day still. Drive-throughs are 100% operational.

Yes its safe.
Technically it is high risk! It only takes a carrier to be breathing in the room where the food is prepared. And carriers take 14-20 days to get corona symptoms while infecting others.

Not to be that guy, but isn't this you?

I am a very obese person. Covid19 has been very eye opening and I hope will motivate me to think about my health.

Maybe a nice home cooked meal or something instead of fast food man. I am overweight as well, and I am trying to do all my meals at home and eat a healthier lifestyle.

Go to the grocery store and buy chicken breast. Add salt and pepper, and some garlic powder. Pan fry it and eat with hot sauce. So easy

I don't even eat fast food when there isnt a pandemic.

Just about all food you eat on a consumer level has preparation that’s fairly comparable so it’s all equally unsafe. Give it a blast in the microwave. 30 seconds should kill anything on the food.

Taco Bell is fucking trash food. I don’t know why anyone eats that nasty shit. It’s either homemade or real Mexican food from a sit-down restaurant for me.
It's nasty, but so is all fast food and at least this is cheap. I have to go out of my way for it i rather eat at a sit down establishment.

I'll be avoiding it this month... all the crazy Christians who think there will be an Easter miracle and don't wash hands seem to go there more often.

I mean a drive through is less probability of infection than going grocery shopping, but more than having groceries delivered. The risk most likely depends on where you live. If I was in NYC I wouldn't do it. But where I live now there isn't a major outbreak so yolo.

we grabbed some today while driving through southern Georgia. it was so cool. the parking lot had big order stations set up, sized like you were at a bank drive thru, or like the old school drive up diners where you order to people on rollerskates. we gave our order to people who were wearing masks and gloves and all of it, then paid/pickup at a different window. it's odd but i feel like COVID is actually a huge boon for the fast food industry. every time i see a Chick Fil A there is a line of cars full of hungry people.

anyways i got a chicken sandwich and some fries and the mac n cheese. HOLY GOD that mac n cheese is good! ive had some authentic southern soul food mac n cheese before and this was right on the money. my first time having theirs and it was wonderful. highly recommended!
