In this time of Covid-19, is it safe to pick up Chick-fil-A?

The virus has a long lifespan. It can contaminate a surface for up to 3 days.

Also, some people may not even know they're infected but still carry the virus.
Infection from contaminated surfaces is exceedingly rare. To the point where it isn’t worth really discussing.

Unless someone coughs on their hand, touches a surface,
then you touch that surface sufficient that enough of the virus gets on your hand,
then you touch your mouth, nose, or eyes without washing your hands.

So wash your hands and don’t touch your face. Also the virus doesn’t last 3 days on surfaces under normal conditions.

What the fuck ever. I’ve had so many Chick Fil A since the lockdowns I’ve lost count.
Don't get the love for Chick fil a. I remember them opening their first location in Lincoln, NE and they were giving out free sandwich coupons and i wasn't impressed. Yet they were lines all day everyday for the stuff. It's above average for fast food, but nothing to go crazy about. Not worth the risk, but you do you.

Heretic. You need the Spicy on Wheat with extra pickle. Then add the buffalo sauce. Beat chicken sandwich out there from a chain.

Yeah, I came within .25 miles of the chicfila yesterday. It's really all I thought about, but I didn't get it. I should have got it.

Now, I have a long car drive today. I cant even pull the sly "What about chicfila?" the first sign we pass.

we grabbed some today while driving through southern Georgia. it was so cool. the parking lot had big order stations set up, sized like you were at a bank drive thru, or like the old school drive up diners where you order to people on rollerskates. we gave our order to people who were wearing masks and gloves and all of it, then paid/pickup at a different window. it's odd but i feel like COVID is actually a huge boon for the fast food industry. every time i see a Chick Fil A there is a line of cars full of hungry people.

anyways i got a chicken sandwich and some fries and the mac n cheese. HOLY GOD that mac n cheese is good! ive had some authentic southern soul food mac n cheese before and this was right on the money. my first time having theirs and it was wonderful. highly recommended!
Tifton or Valdosta?

Neither one. It was somewhere maybe an hour north of Tate’s Hell.

Thing about CFA is every time I stop to get some there is a line of cars, meaning the folks are just constantly making new stuff and selling it, meaning all the food is hit and fresh. It’s like visiting during the lunch rush all the time.

Also I really want to reiterate this important point: I’m telling ya the Mac and cheese is so damn good.

No if you step outside your house you. Will. Die.

Unless it’s to riot then you’re fine because the virus doesn’t target rioters.

Was this post for real? ... Are human being become this pathetic for real?

I don’t even think Chick Fil A’s in most states allow dining in. There isn’t much risk at all picking it up through a drive through.

I’ve done DoorDash with them 5 times during the lockdown.

McDonald's is like that here too. No dine in. But Burger King, Jack in the Box, Golden Corral, and most other places here are allowing dine-in.

I just ate my first Chipotle since March. Dropped my credit card on the floor while paying too. Also took a piss. Ate outside of the restaurant at at a table nearby.

I don’t really care for Chick fil A.

we stopped into a McDonald's but only to use the restroom. the store was open and there were customers waiting but everyone was wearing masks. no idea if the other stores allowed dining in but i imagine so. most people do not want to eat in, so i'm seeing a lot of cars in the drive thru's. this means that without many people inside, it is v easy to social distance. i saw less than 10 people in the entire McDonald's, and everyone was wearing a mask. that's pretty responsible.

*95% survival rate and rising actually, fucking moron.

Back on topic. CFA is amazing how they can crowd control like no other. 50 cars seems like a nightmare, up to the point where 5 minutes later you have your food and you're on your way. Go to Glen Gene's next door and 2 cars deep means you're waiting at least 15 god damn minutes.

Darkness no more
I've been doing local restaurants every few days to toss them some money and to get some good food. I am still among the living.

To update my March post...
I’ve been doing take out once a week still...sometimes Chick-fil-A. I’ve also been doing dine in with friends once a week at different places since they lifted restrictions. I am still alive.

You can go inside the store here and order food but can't sit down. Last I checked was about a month ago so maybe it's changed.

Edit: It was like this both in Vegas and Searchlight.

According to my CFA App, I have eaten there 25 times since you posted this thread. Praise God's Chicken!

Make that 26 times now. Mmmmm.
