Indiana Jones and the Great Circle |OT| Fortune and Glory, kid. Fortune and Glory.

Booted the game up and cranked the graphics all the way up. However I noticed right away that the game is... dark? There is something really off about the picture to me and I cant tell. Is it the HDR acting up? I Know that Armored Core 6 HDR makes the game gray and ruins the experience. However that is only the darkness. Even with turning off my usual things like chromatic aberration, motion blur, and other things of the sort. It still seems slightly off in a way I can't quite pinpoint. Anyone have any idea?

Reposting this so my question doesn't get lost at the bottom of the previous page.

Can anyone help me find this collectible? I've looked all over but haven't been able to go further back in the level than this room. On top of that online maps of this level don't even have that collectible existing at all, so I'm wondering if this is actually a glitch that I should ignore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you finished the game? If so use chapter select and start back at the beginning of that level just in case one of the set pieces blocks off the way back.

Or, watch a walkthrough of collectibles for the ship level on YT?

That last big open world area really killed the momentum. I enjoyed the game a lot, but that whole section really worked against the game's pacing.
yeah that's definitely a thing.
fortunately game doesn't outstay its welcome much.
there is not much more to go. and ends in kinda of a high note

I've finished the game, but is there a different chapter select from revisiting old maps? When I revisited this level from the menu is started me at the very end and then I backtracked as far as I could (where the screenshot was taken). Is there a way to simply replay the entire chapter from the beginning within the same save file (ie not restarting the game)?

Almost done with the Vatican and I'm sort of not that impressed with this as a game. It's a great story that well… should've been a movie.

I'm playing on hard and the combat is a joke, and is super shallow plus not fun. Exploration and puzzles aren't standout either but better than the combat I guess.

Runs and looks good on ps5 pro but I guess I was expecting better visual fidelity. It has its moments though with lighting.

Does the game become better? I used my revolver one time and never again. I'd like to be blasting some Nazis later. This is the same stuff behind wolfenstein right?

Turn off map markers. Then explore each map fully -> only way to legitimately enjoy it as a game.

Else you can treat is as a fun romp and play for story, its average I would say.

I think it definitely gets better as the game goes on, 100%. With that said, if you're not enjoying it now I don't know that it's different enough later that your mind is going to be changed.

Starting off in Italy was different, this has to be one of my favorite atmospheric games, taking photos of sculptures, and I hope the decision to go first person was right, so far it doesn't feel like it's suffering from FPS, I think the backpack could be better to just a weapon wheel.

Heeeey! So my bro, who's an Indiana Jones fan, has gifted me the game for my birthday.

I have no clue of what the game is about or how it plays, but still excited to try it since the Wolfenstein games by the same devs were pretty cool.

Wife and I started playing yesterday and it's a lot of fun! The AI is brain dead, but even that has a charm to it. Enjoy!

Play it with map markers off.

Like you are playing Atomfall or System Shock.

Enjoy good level design.

Borrowed this from the library, what a weird game. Trailers wanted it to look like a first person Uncharted but it's actually Dishonored slowly sneaking around and clubbing guys in the back of the head? Why does it take him so long to climb on things, like let's get a move on here.

But it is pretty fun otherwise, just not what I was expecting at all. Not sure I have the patience for it in 2025.

It was surprisingly enjoyable, they've actually managed to capture the on-screen Indiana Jones experience into a video game. Some notable highlights are the stealth sections, puzzles and the visuals, and if the game has full modding support you can craft a Thief clone right there.

However, they did have some questionable design choices that prevent me from collecting everything. Once I went back to the Vatican, they make you start again from the beginning instead of the last checkpoint before the chapter ends? Worse, if I can't buy the books from the mailman because I cant re-buy the camera. Completely frustrating on that end, if they fixed this I'd be happy to go back but this is just a level of bad oversight .

This game seems so incredibly boring to me that i couldn't even watch a single whole review, and quit reading every article about the game within the first paragraph. I don't know what it is about this game, but holy fuck does it look flat to me. Absolutely mind blown by how well it was received.

Escape From Butcher Bay was amazing btw. One of my fav games on the og Xbox.

Just reached Egypt, I thought the Vatican part did drag on quite a fair bit...
It's how the game was designed. There are only 3 main locations so you're supposed to spend a lot of time in them. They added a few smaller locations later in the game, but I can see how it won't appeal to some people if they don't want to keep doing main quests in the same location.

Vatican is by far the best part of the game (although Egypt looks nice)
This is where gaming meets reality, whereby it is only through this game that we get to actually delve beneath the Sphinx, yet in real-life it is off-limits and who knows if we'll ever get to see what really went on in, and beneath it!

IF you mainline nothing really drags. But each area has a lot of fun stuff to explore and enjoy. Just do what interest you.

Okay? You can't be bothered to watch a single review or try the game, but you're more than willing to write a paragraph about it here?

Yes.
And it's not like i haven't seen anything about the game on twitch/youtube. Game is flat af, not too sure how it got the scores it got. Then again, this thing was forgotten before it was released, and guaranteed to have sold poorly, so it makes perfect sense.

Check out this level. Its one of the later ones.

If you like good level design, this is one of the most complex ones. A lot of people complain about it due to that. Not sure how much of it will show in YouTube though.

I'm playing it now, and it's excellent so far. As a Gen-Xer, the Indy trilogy is some of my favorite movies, and this game nails the vibe of the original trilogy.

LTTP, but I just got the plat and 100% completion.

The only 2 issues I had:
  1. Combat and AI are trash tier. The boxing rings were literally the only time there was any challenge at all at highest difficulty. Other than health upgrades, nothing else was even required to beat the game. Even stamina management became pointless after a few upgrades. All those systems were built and never actually pushed to be useful. Using any guns was more trouble than they were worth and situations never escalated to a level where it was shoot or die. Tried them all a few times just to deliberately create some variety, but went back to stealth and brawling as that felt more rewarding.
  2. Lots of irritating bugs (on ps5 pro), like icons not showing up on the map or staying there even after completion. Even had Gina stuck on a dialog in Sukhothai that she would keep repeating for the rest of level. I had no solution for it as my last save was overwritten and I had to mute voice volume altogether through the rest of the playthrough in that level. Luckily it was one of the last story missions, so I just had to put up with it for the collectibles.
Still my personal GOTY until Silent Hill f or GoY can beat it. Can't wait for Order of the Giants.

What a boring game. About to give up on it after doing a couple of mission in Gizah. Was focusing on the main objectives only, hoping that it'd make it less boring, but the core of the gameplay – stealth and puzzles – is just awful.

Beyond the terrible AI, there's no combat system, level design, or variety to support such heavy emphasis on stealth gameplay (why so many different objects just for striking enemies from behind?). The puzzles are also extremely basic and easy, probably designed for young children.

It looks great though and I guess it might work as an interactive Indiana Jones movie for some people, but I hope MachineGames gets back to the Wolfenstein IP instead of continuing this one.
