43 games in the released part, 41 games in the future part. This month is packed with high profile releases, so this thread doesnt see as many free offerings as the august one. Nonetheless, another month of Indie gaming goodness lies before us and I can promise you that there are also gems to be found among the gems you havent tried yet. Free Videogame album bonus, SpaceChem: http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a83228/spacechem
Free Bonus album from last month because I am still madly in love with it: Pyramid - Lost in Space
We will also have a vote on the best games of the month in the last week of the thread. The results for june can be seen below. For some first time readers that wonder about my definition of "recent": We didnt have any major Indie thread in 2012 on GAF, so we are also catching all the titles that slipped through our net last year. Anyway, have fun with the games from this month!

Hey! I assume you are new in this thread series and want to see what we were up to? Or you didnt have enough time to play through all of the games from the last month but still want to catch up with the best ones? Then this list is for YOU! These were the games we enjoyed the most in the previous thread, voted on by the community (More thorough descriptions and impressions in the previous thread, especially the last few pages with the voting):

I noticed there are a few noteworthy, and relatively unknown, projects that deserve a shoutout here because I feel that they share a common interest with the people in this thread. I talked to the guy from Pixabyte and MetaVendetta and both are very enthusiastic about the things they love and figured you might appreciate the shoutout as well. If you enjoy anything here or want to give feedback, let these guys know via their websites or also here in this thread. If you appreciate something, let people know. A heads up can sometimes very valuable.
This is a monthly podcast series that presents notable Indie Game soundtracks. A likeable host and guests, a fantastic track selection, interesting discussions and a focus for Indies will make this one a mainstay in my monthly threads.
These guys worked on a weekly YT video series that will present the newest Indie Game releases with small gameplay clips, impressions and anything important you might need to know. Definitely a great way to get an overview of recent releases and hopefully another mainstay for this Media Corner.

First person space exploration game, and it's awesome. Even though I suck at landing the shuttle, it was jaw-dropping doing seamless transitions from space exploring to landing on planets. Playing as alien space explorers with their own mythology is interesting. Nice to have a game purely dedicated to space exploring rather than all the strategy stuff that turns me off to those games.

In this first person time travel puzzle game, please help this blockheaded teacher through obstacles in her school. Charming and unique design, clever puzzles and interesting mechanics. Portal and the games that sprung from it are among the best puzzle platformers ever and if this game gets a full fleshed release it would stand proudly next to those.

3. Against the Wall (5 votes) - Free Alpha (PC)

It's a simple block puzzle game, but the abstract world is the star here. Once you get to the jaw-dropping city with multi-eyed trees that really just want to ram you into the wall, you know this game has something special going for it. Also, I love games where you can get to a really large height and then fall all the way down (Mirror's Edge) instead of a game-over screen in the middle.

How many games let you play as a lab inventor type? It's basically 2D Portal, as you can see in the gifs. Also, you get to kill monkey robots in a bloody display. I just wanted to call out, best map design EVER in a Metroidvania style game. If you're stuck, there is a hint system that you pay with points and the game takes over for the solution.

It's a game of world discovery where you feel around the dark squared space to figure out where you can go, collecting lights along the way to complete rooms. It feels unique with a cute aesthetic and great sound design.

6. Ripple Dot Zero (3 votes) - Free (PC, Browser)

his has 90s action platformer stamped all over it. The momentum-based inertia, brilliant genre-hopping soundtrack, an ice-skating jetpack penguin with a sword, and that high-fi 16-bit aesthetic.
