Sweet! I filled out my backer-kit, but my email address changed. Is there a way I can make sure everything is good to go with my current email? I sent an email through Indiegogo, but haven't seen a response about it.

A couple of new rough animations for the new monster attacks in the Backer Preview!
boy I do not want to get hit with that
"When we were reviewing Vascos design, we felt the characters combination of Spanish conquistador and cowboy influences lacked cohesion, but we wanted to keep him an older gunslinger character. Additionally, we didnt have much in the way of lanky characters, and we felt that a tall and lanky character was a good fit for that role."
"In addition to his lankier build, the character gained more poise and a custom pistol/rapier to combine some fancy swordplay with his gunplay."
They haven't mentioned which one is playable and which one is not so that's good.
Would it be wrong of me to think that it's kinda misleading how different some characters are now?
He doesn't even have shading, so I'm sure this is not final.Really like the new gunblade pistol weapon. Though something about it being just 1 solid color bothers me. Are the colors final on these designs? The salmon pink is just odd next to the deep red in thr coat imo.
Right, well I get that it's not the in game model but the original article list them as "finalized designs" so curious how much is allowed to change after that.He doesn't even have shading, so I'm sure this is not final.

Sometimes you just need to tune out the noise. You worry about every little comment and you'll drive yourself mad.The design is final - shading is just the last step.
I think a lot of people are forgetting that a model sheet is a tool to help artists draw the character, and is purposefully light on everything else, including the characters' personalities.
Some of the analysis we're seeing over Vasco is making me think we need to reconsider how we handle these. I know people are hungry for information, but sometimes a model sheet is just a model sheet.
For example, I've now seen people say that we're pandering to SJWs because he got darker, and someone else say that we changed it because of the current state of American politics.
I like seeing the model sheets regardless of whether or not I prefer particular changes to designs. The design is final - shading is just the last step.

Those types of purposesly inflammatory comments aren't worth consideration under any circumstance.

I just meant and assumed that once shaded in, the gun won't look like a solid single color white weapon, since that was what was implied in the initial concern. However, could be totally wrong.Right, well I get that it's not the in game model but the original article list them as "finalized designs" so curious how much is allowed to change after that.
Also the enemy animations are super cool!
The rampant brownwashing in media must come to an end! *shakes fist righteously*For example, I've now seen people say that we're pandering to SJWs because he got darker, and someone else say that we changed it because of the current state of American politics.
I had a much more eloquent reply typed up but then my phone hiccuped, so suffice to say some people will always be upset. People get attached to designs and I don't think there's much you can do about that besides have faith in the direction your team is deciding to go in.Oh, of course.
But, either way, it's kind of nuts either way how strongly some people are reacting to, like... 4% of the game's playable cast changing more than they expected.
And while I'm not saying hold off on releasing the model sheets at all, but not releasing them without other information and art to better explain things, since people don't seem to know what they're looking at.

They are reacting to 100% of the current available news (regardless of as little or much that is of the actual whole) and waxingBut, either way, it's kind of nuts either way how strongly some people are reacting to, like... 4% of the game's playable cast changing more than they expected.
Maybe instead releasing focused news make some short studio tour video with a lot of different casual ever changing status quo sneak previews so everybody watching ends up confused?![]()
