It absolutely does. Not to mention the trophy specifically mentions "rails" in the description and not "powerlines," but I guess they still work too.

Look at it like this: with this powerline location, you don't have to worry about trains coming at you ;)

I'm stuck with the stunts challenge after two playthrough. I can't kill any ennemy by throwing him back his grenade with the Shockwave. No matter what I do, it never goes near him or even killing him. Any tips ?

How, and for those who have Gigawatt Blades, how is it ? Is it like Melee with more range or new animations and shits ?

I just did it last night. When you are on the second island, there is the mission where you go to the area with all the Shipping Cargo Containers. There is a guy talking to you, and he has Zeke as a hostage and is threatening to kill him. I believe it is a boss battle, but I am not sure cause I never got to the end cause I was so dead tired. But right after you start the mission, you are walking by some containers, one opens up, there are 4 guys inside. Kill them. Then, you go around a corner, and it goes to a quick cutscene showing a guy up on a scaffold.

That guy has the grenade launcher. If you shoot the scaffold, it falls and he falls to the ground. Now it is just you vs. him, one on one. Stand back and keep trying to "force" the grenade back into him with your "Force Push" (I forget what it is called).

If you accidentally kill him just abort the mission and start again.

I know this doesnt help you if you have played 2 times through, but if anyone else is having problems this should definitely help them.

I am down to 1 more stunt but it says I have to have a certain ability to do it. I forget what it said I had to have. I have been really lucky with the stunts I think. The hardest for me was this one, Right Back At Ya and Meleeing a guy in the air. Those were tough.

Yeah, that stunt says you have to ride the rails, but I got it while I was grinding powerlines. I really have a feeling it really is power lines since I grinded those bad boys for ever, never got the trophy, then just yesterday it pops up while I was on a powerline.

Started my evil playthrough on hard last night and got surprisingly far. It's crazy how much I progressed without bothering with all the side missions (still ended up with 40% clear on 1st island).

Also, I didn't really bother with doing all the stunts on my good run, so I'm going to get them all this time. Anyways, how do you do a melee finisher? It's the first stunt that shows on the pause screen, and its still there even though I'm at 8 stunts. Do I need to upgrade melee or something?

Also, now that I'm kind of avoiding side missions (with the exception of good/evil), do you have to do the uplink ones to make the good/evil missions appear?

Melee finisher is the easiest one.

Don't zap an enemy. Just run up and melee him until he dies.

Cole does a melee combo and that's all.

I need to track down Crackdown when I'm done with this. Sandbox games with super hero powered characters = awesome, who'd have thunk it.

Try it on a civilian.
Bam. There it is!
Plus with civilians it's easy as hell to get the air melee stunt, or whatever it's called.

Beat it last night on good playthrough, loved the ending. I wasn't planning on playing again on evil but I wanna see how the story pans out now. Started on evil and hard difficulty and am having a blast just zapping everyone.

Final boss fight was a letdown, too easy

My 25k trophy pinged whilst i was riding the train tracks, so they do count.
Good to hear, I hadn't checked it myself. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of this second playthrough. I can't believe I started playing this a second time immediately after finishing the first, I NEVER do that.

My game of the year so far, easily.

Is there a list of which trophies can be completed over multiple playthroughs, and which have to be done on a single playthrough?

Multiple playthroughs: None (unless of course you count good/evil mission choices)

Single playthrough: All

Eh? You need to play the game at least twice to get all the trophies...

There is no list. The only trophies that don't carry over are Stunts, Shards, Dead Drops, Powers and Upgrades, clearing each island 100% of enemies. Everything else is accumulable

I know that, I have the Platinum :-p

The way he formed his question he was asking whether or not things like shards or stunts would carry over to another playthrough, which they won't. Nothing carries over as saves/playthroughs are completely independent of one another.

Like I said, the only things that require an additional playthrough are karmic related.

Great, thanks. Looks like the shards is going to be the toughest. I wish they showed up on the map similar to the dead drops. At least once you have 5% left or something.

Have anyone experience a cop shooting people while playing as a Hero? At first I thought he was shooting the dustmen then I noticed people falling over, he was murdering people, so i had to zap him and tie him to the floor. Very weird.

They're called criminals and you just allowed them to get away. You call yourself a hero. *shakes head*

yeah, cops shoot at the bad guys, you mustve just not seen them. civilians throw rocks at bad guys too if your karma is good enough

On evil i'm not looking forward to civilians and cops shooting at me though. I am looking forward to blasting the shit out of them though, mwahaha

Finally caved and picked it up, this is the second SP game that I buy based off a demo after Bioshock. I must have played the demo 10 times.

You don't get anything as a good guy. No new visual effects, no new powers, no battery cores. Kinda sucks. If you play as good you look the same all the way throughout the game.

That proved, once again, that being bad is better

I'm not sure you played them in the right order then. Crackdown has no powers, no story to speak of - just shooting shit with guns while jumping really far. Play co-op to spice it up.

My copy finally arrived from Amazon on Tuesday. This game is fantastic. Easily as addictive as Crackdown, probably more so. Having a radar for blast shards is awesome, though I'm afraid I'm going to wear down my controller's L3 button from pressing it all the time.

I just unlocked the second power on the second island (
the megaton hammer missile things
). I can't wait to sink more time into the game this weekend. I'm going through on good the first time (seems most people are). I'm going to run through evil after that, on hard so I can get both trophies.

Is there a full list of stunts anywhere?

Of all the side mission types, the satellite uplinks are my favorite. I just with some of them were longer. Platforming time trials are awesome.

Finished the game this morning. Really impressed with the story. Really impressed.

I played through as "good" and I'm not interested in another play through as evil. I don't normally play games as the evil character, just feels wrong to me.

I think I'm gonna leave this game as is. Excited to play the next game from Sucker Punch. Good stuff.

aren't you interested in plot differences? I wasn't going to play a 2nd time either til I saw the ending, it makes me want to know how different things are

It's more fun playing as evil Cole.. He doesn't have any restraints and just delivers massive damage to everyone around him

Attention all Gamefly subscribers who have Infamous out. Finish the damn game already, I've been waiting a week for a copy :lol "Low" Availability my ass. More like "Golden Ticket required".

I have. I even followed the cop for a good 30 min but he was definitely shooting at civilians as he would shoot at one civilian until he/she was down then move onto the next civilian.

I wish this game had some sort of "horde" mode. The combat is so satisfying. I just want to take on a never ending onslaught of reapers, dustmen and conduits.

Man, is the framerate in the 2nd city worse? For some reason I got the impression that the game is running a bit worse at the moment. Strange.
