Theory time. Scarecrow is the Avatar of the Black/Rot, explaining his new status as a
and corpse like appearance. We know Swamp Thing is the Avatar of the Green and it makes sense that NRS might draw on aspects of the other elemental forces, given his inclusion in the second game. Solomon Grundy is not returning and was the Avatar of the Rot on Earth 2 (New 52). That means NRS might have opted to choose another character to represent the elemental force, if it plays a role. Scarecrow, with his corpse like appearance, and rotting flesh upholds similar physical characteristics to Anton Arcane and Earth 2 Solomon Grundy; each a Champion or Avatar of the Rot on their respective Earths. Maybe the Rot with Scarecrow as its Avatar, is the force that brings some of the characters back from the dead.

That sounds quite plausible actually, good theory. It would also not be reliant on Ra's inclusion in the story. I think he very well could be teased for the next game, or possibly even DLC. We need more Batwank haha. With Swamp Thing referencing Ra's and the inclusion of Damian, I think he'll play a part somehow and at the very least get a mention. Going back to my theory on NRS thematic elements, in MKX there was a large emphasis on family/relations and that's a theme I see bleeding over into Injustice. Bringing in Black Canary with Green Arrow, Supergirl for Superman, Joker for Harley, Damian for Bruce, etc.

Ra's definitely has the makings of a mastermind. Whether or not that's realised in this game, its sequel, or even DLC, is another question. I strongly believe that if he had a significant role to play within the story, he'd be playable, so I don't think we're quite there yet. As you point out though, there have been many references to the Demon's Head and there is commonality between the themes of family and legacy in MKX and Injustice 2, from what little we can piece together. He might have a more external role to play that doesn't require him to be playable.
It does count, there's like a 10c buffer if you fall a few cents short.

Framerate's gonna be the same for both, no way a fighting game's gonna have disparity in that regard.
Resolution/Load times is still up in the air though.

Those look like I1 characters. The costume on WW, Grundy, the stance on Batman.
Batman had that stance until recently. It's concept art, so the designs probably weren't finalized yet. I doubt Grundy's playable, but it's still weird that he's included here.

As a competitive tourney player I'll be definitely getting the US version too because I need to play US players and it comes out 2 days earlier than EU so I can't be at a disadvantage.

If there's no Pro patch, if Sony keeps the Boost mode feature in the new firmware, it speeds up loading by a couple seconds on some games. It shaved a couple seconds off MKX. More so on initial load, less on matches. Loading times are not too bad to begin with.
I'm hoping they made the resolution scaleable for both PS4 Pro and for Scorpio when it comes out later in the year. On Xbox, it seems sub-1080p currently like MKX was, and it kinda looks like that resolution takes a hit during the stage transitions, but I couldn't guarantee it.

Those... shards, I guess, protruding from his body definitely make the Avatar of the Rot theory seem even more likely for me. After all, Grundy had a whole bunch of junk protruding from his body. Although, yeah, these look much simpler, but I think it's the same idea.

I'm salty we'll never get Scarecrow's Asylum VA back for anything else but a mediocre mobile game that came out a while back.
The guy in I2 is new but closer to his Arkham Knight voice. Wish I could record a video but I have no idea how to.
His moveset isn't particularly impressive just judging from the mobile game, pretty much nothing flashy. Couldn't even tell what he was doing half the time, I only remember one move involving fear gas.

I don't see why we just shut up and take it up the ass regarding the region lock.
Xbox versions are not region locked. Pc version is not region locked. Virtually no other ps4 game is region locked.
They have no fucking excuse.

Don't even know why most of us initially assumed that she was a skin. She's a cat character, sure, but she doesn't use any of Catwoman's tools, and the femme fatale shtick isn't really her primary persona.

Is Scarecrow made of straw? What's the context of this? How did they meet?
Is that Scarecrow Asylum VA Brainiac in this game? It's a similar voice.
Besides, I like Scarecrow having a more resonant delivery, especially when the fear toxin is on.
The movset did look bland in the footage I've seen. That's a shame. The idea earlier in the thead of him dousing his oppopnent with Fear Toxin in the intro and doing impossible shit throughout the match, like dissolving into bugs and floating around with a scythe, probably would have been the better direction.
I mean, every single character looks like shit, moveset wise, in that mobile game. Even the ones we did see and are in fact pretty cool.
Not sure, can't really do that at the moment anyway as I'm not home.

His moveset looks super underwhelming so far but that's almost definitely because it's the mobile game, apart from regular attacks you get like two special moves, a projectile and that's it. I have no idea how the AI even did his Super, I can't see any option to do mine.

It's sort of canonical. She's such a good fighter in the comics that she really doesn't need the cry unless she's up against a weird opponent or need to take out a crowd quick. She has fought Lady Shiva on equal ground.

It's too early to nerf characters. We're playing an early build of the game with six characters of a 28+ character roster. FYI, you can also easily block the Canary Cry.
