Just wondering though, if I kept this on what benefit would this give me over the old way?
I'm confused as to the difference between Artist and Album Artist ..

1.) I manually inputted all my contacts from my old phone onto my iPod Touch.
2.) How do I get these contacts to transfer over to my iCloud account?
3.) Furthermore how do I get these to transfer over to my iPhone 4S?
I feel like the iCloud system is way more complicated than it needs to be. It's pissing me off.
Tap on the blank space on the album art and it should pop back up.Zozobra said:I'm on a 3GS and after the upgrade, the navigation controls on my iPod seem to be missing while I'm playing a song. I used to have a bar that I could slide around to different places in a song as well as a shuffle button. Now all I have are the play, skip forward/backward and volume controls - has anyone else encountered this? Thanks.

You can't. Only 3rd party apps let you choose a different sound.Pyrokai said:I have my notification sound for Twitter set to the default "Tweet" sound.
But when I get a mention on Twitter, it definitely alerts me with a completely different sound.
How do I fix this?
I think it's just a bug.Kunohara said:Anyone know why my pictures are upside down when I move them from my 4s to my pc? I've always held the phone with the volume buttons on the top since you can use the volume up button to snap pics. Am I holding it wrong? Is there a setting I'm missing? I figure it would work like a real camera and that having the volume up on the top makes sense.
The 'tweet' sound is for a notification that you've sent a tweet from iOS, not that you've received a tweet. You'll need to change the received tweet sound in your Twitter app for that.Pyrokai said:I have my notification sound for Twitter set to the default "Tweet" sound.

Yep. Still haven't figured out how to fix this yet. :-\RPS37 said:I keep having tons of problems trying to fix the album art on my phone on the new iTunes. (It doesn't update after multiple tries) Anyone else?
No, because they're not iMessages.Epix said:Do SMS messages sent by non-iOS people to your iPhone show up in iMessages on the iPad?
How would this even be possible?dream said:And are iMessages delivered when you're in airplane mode with wifi turned on?
Yes. As long as the device can get on the web, it can receive and send iMessages.dream said:I have 2 random question, gigs. Are delta app updates live yet? And are iMessages delivered when you're in airplane mode with wifi turned on?
iMessage and FaceTime are basically instant messaging services.Fusebox said:How would this even be possible?
I don't have Pages so I can't test it out, but you should be able to from here:RedSwirl said:So I just created a document in Pages and saved it on iCloud. Is there a way to download it directly to my Windows Vista desktop?
I think he meant that it isn't possible to turn on only wifi when using airplane mode.hirokazu said:iMessage and FaceTime are basically instant messaging services.
It's actually a time saver because it's automatic. You don't need to take time going to your computer and sync... you can just plug it in anywhere. It's probably already synced.FatCat said:So I finally tried out the itunes synching through wifi. Its kind of slow and cumbersome to use, might as well plug the damn thing into my PC. I guess its nice if you don't want wires everywhere.

And if you manually sync, you don't have to give up using your phone while the PC is syncing... just walk about your house doing your business.
It's a gamer changer for me.

You have to disable it first.
Zefah said:I recently purchased an iPhone 4S and am absolutely loving the device and iOS 5. However, there is one configuration option that I would really like to have implemented in a future update.
Many applications in the App Store support a variety of languages. However, most of these applications automatically decide which language to display based on the language the user has set for the operating system. In order to get the application to display in another supported language, the user has to change their operating system's display language, which can be a rather annoying process.
I don't know what technical issues could make implementing this difficult, but I think it would be great if we could set the display language on a per-application basis. Offering a simple option in the settings screen for each application would make the user experience for multilingual users that much better.
Number45 said:Hmm, I'm noticing a delay in pushing mail at the moment - anyone else having the same (Gmail here by the way). I'll get a mail notice on my desktop without anything popping up on the phone, but when I go to the phone and unlock it I immediately get the notification - almost as if it's checking when I unlock the phone.
Hmmm, I am gmail as well. Maybe try turning on your icloud email and see if it has the same issue.Number45 said:It's happening to me with both. I'm 3G at the moment though (and the signal here is amazing, I'm getting ~9Mbps speeds). Are you Gmail as well? Perhaps it's a Gmail issue rather than iOS?
Using the same Apple ID for both? If so it should ask once for your password the first time you backup. Dunno why it would do it more than that though.Tralfamadore64 said:My iPad (1) is continuously asking me to verify my password for iCloud backup. My iPhone 3GS does not require this ever. What's happening here?
