Yes! I've been a bit busy so I haven't played the PC version, I'm glad to have it on the go.

The Balloons, from HyperBeard and Noodlecake is coming this thursday... looks great. The trailer is hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47wgkODLvUQ

Thanks for the tweet ;)

I'm always looking Twitter, hunting for new games, looking for developers, I love the positiveness it evokes, feel relaxed there, I follow who I want, almost everybody is nice there, lots of cool developers and besides all that I love how it works, lightyears ahead of facebook...

For some reason, free already.

Magic Flute by Mozart di Lab Like Sp. z o.o.

Wow. And I think the original $1.99 price was supposed to be introductory.

Anyway, it's a solid tile slider with some different twists on the genre. Hasn't grabbed me as much as other recent releases (like the GLORIOUS HoPiKo).

Well worth a download and hope this is just a sale.

It had the disadvantage of being quite unknown and in a week full of hyped releases, too bad, is a great puzzler with an awesome presentation and music. Now that is free, no reason not to check it out...

Yes. I should have mentioned that the music and presentation is indeed very good. And it is a shame because even I haven't given it much time because of so many other releases.

I completed half of the game but since then I didn't touch it... also, the developer just said on Twitter that the game is free for the next 48 hours only due to being the anniversary of the opera´s first staging.

I saw that but even though mobile gaming has become a bigger part of my life, the opposite has been true for at least my kids. Both my 12 and 16 year olds are next to impossible to get away from their PCs. The older one plays Counterstrike (unbelievable that it's still so popular) and Dota. The younger one much prefers playing Minecraft on his laptop over the mobile or console versions. And both of their friends are the same way. They rarely touch mobile games (especially my 16-year-old who, like others, gives me the PC Master Race speech all the time).

So I think it's a little overblown.

Speaking of Kero Blaster - has anyone played it on an iPhone 6? I won't be able to stick with the 5 family forever, and I fear the bigger screen might not be as good for the controls :( Apple please, let me give you money in exchange of an iPhone mini.

$0.99 right now:

Sorcery! 3
Tengami
Legend of Grimrock
Kiwanuka

Thanks for the heads up.

Why only Sorcery! 3? I'm still waiting for 4 before I grab those.

Double dipped on Legend of Grimrock, because, why not?

And you can add Horizon Chase - World Tour to that list.

Get! Mos Speedrun is probably one of my top iOS games of all time.

Also picked up Sorcery! 3 just to complete the collection, I've yet to even start 2 yet but got 1-2 in their adventure bundle back when it was on sale for $6.99 (wanted 80 Days).
Sorcery 4 is expected in early/mid 2016 and will be releasing cross-platform on PC and mobile. Should give you an idea of the scope they're going for with 4

The 80 Days update is out now and it includes.... a ton of stuff...

What's New in Version 1.2
Huge new content update! Explore South and North America and the wilds of Canada. Visit Pitcairn Island, Meteora Valley, Dubrovnik, Zurich and more. Travel to the Moon, play poker with a billionaire, go over Niagara Falls or accompany an international jewel thief on a journey to uncover the Artificer's greatest secret.

With more than 100,000 words of new content and twenty new cities this is the definitive version of last year's IGF-winning, four-times BAFTA nominated title.

This update is entirely free; the app contains no additional purchases.

Get! Mos Speedrun is probably one of my top iOS games of all time.

Buying as we speak (just arrived home) :) I also loved the first one and this looks even better with lots of new mechanics (as seen in the app description)... this should be good...

This time Mos has learned some awesome new abilities: Swing on ropes, swim through jelly, push blocks, wall jump, and fight through spider webs to reach the end of a level.

They're releasing the entire series on PC now so I wouldn't necessarily take that as an indication of scope but yeah, it'll be bigger and better like any 'sequel' most likely. :)

True, but I imagine a Sorcery designed with PC in mind would have bigger scope and such than the others. 1 through 3 on PC are simply ports, while 4 is being made for PC. Compare Breach & Clear to B&C Deadline or Anomaly to Anomaly 2

Early/mid 2016? That is far away, I wanted to complete all 4 games at once. The good part is that Inkle keeps their apps updated so no worries for iOS 9 breaking games or stuff like that :D

Yeah! Another Wednesday. Time to buy more games I don't have room for. :(

I was thinking the same earlier.. still need to finish Horizon Chase, Hero Emblems, Tales from Outer Space, Magic Flute,.... so many games to play!

Okay, so for the October title, I'm thinking of using a horror movie tagline

Some thoughts so far

| When there's no more room on your phone, Apple will come to TV
Dawn of the Dead

| Just when you thought your TV was safe from mobile games
Jaws

In space, no one can hear you play mobile games on your TV.

Not sure if already mentioned but Out There is on sale for a buck.

BTW...speaking of Out There, I still found myself playing it (especially after the Omega update) and utterly enjoying it way more than a year later.

$0.99 right now:

Sorcery! 3
Tengami
Legend of Grimrock
Kiwanuka

Other noteworthy $.99 sales:

Horizon Chase (if you like racers at all and have not picked this up..do it...now)
Danmuku Unlimited 2 (ditto above for shmup lovers)
Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage
Strata
Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP

I imagine this is another Apple sponsored sale.

Any thoughts on Tengami? I think I remember hearing that it looked good but was just okay gameplay wise. Not the $.99 I am concerned about as much as space and my already big backlog.

Tengami is apparently very short so it shouldn't be hard to finish it. And I've heard the same thing gameplay wise but I still need to pick it up.

I have very fond memories of Tengami.
It's short and very poetic..if you liked Lunar Flowers you will like it a lot.
Takes longer than Lunar Flowers and has a super cool cardboard look that it's tied to the gameplay.
Some puzzles weren't THAT straightforward too (but if I recall well...it's a 2-3 hour thing).

No brainer for 1 dollar, assuming you actually have time to play it.
