I'm ashamed to say that when I first jailbroke my iPhone it was for rather questionable reasons, but now a few years on I cannot even remember the last time I downloaded an IPA (though Puzzle and Dragons was tempting since it's not out in the UK yet, I managed to resist and will wait for an official release) and use jailbreak for purely legitimate reasons on my iPad - Dimmer, Bulletin, NCSettings, RetinaPad etc are all pretty much essential for me now
With that in mind, I stuck with iOS 5 because "it just worked" and I haven't encountered any apps that require iOS 6 until now with the Mailbox app - am I okay to just update to the very latest iPad version then use Evasion Jailbreak? Many thanks
(edit) Sorry, I mean 6.1.2 - I guess it's easy enough to download the firmware for the earlier versions?
