Remember, you're getting web hosting with it as well. This feature seems to be getting lost in the shuffle among all the buzz over the Push features. I'm not saying it's a fantastic deal or anything, but I'll be ditching my current $120/year web-hosting for MobileMe shortly. I'll be losing a bunch of space, but I never used the ton of space I currently have with Dreamhost.
that's true, as long as you just want a small site that won't get popular, it'll do.
How exactly do you add a site to it? Do you have to use iWeb, or can you do anything. Usually I spend 2 months building a site, 1 month adding content, and another 3 of nothing before I cancel my hosting. Maybe i'd be more willing to update it if it's easy to build, even if it's a template.
Back on topic: I recommend everyone who has a mac do the free trail of MobileMe, force yourself to organize contacts (i imported from gmail and iPhone) it's real simple to edit and update in address book (even changing contact pictures automatically updates on the phone without syncing.)
iCal works the same too. Whether you are at home on your mac, at work online, or on the move on phone, you can update / add / delete events with immediate results.
I never used the equivalent on PC, but if you do I'm assuming it works the same.
edit:
Ulairi:
iCal doesn't seem to push to my MBP when I update it from my phone. Nor do Contacts, is there something I have to download for this to work?
That's what MobileMe does, go to
me.com and follow the instructions!
