You shouldn't have to wonder too hard about this one.neptunes said:I wonder if the new 3G model(s)? will cause a lot of the older models to pop up on eBay
I don't, besides GAF I don't really see people complaining about the lack of 3G, not enough to sell their phones and buy a new oneLiu Kang Baking A Pie said:You shouldn't have to wonder too hard about this one.

Can I use an unlocked iPhone on a Verizon plan? That would be awesome, but the data would probably kill my wallet.
Instead we kowtow to Adobe's will. Last I checked, building a flash-free site had nothing to do with bending to Apple's will but in fact recognizing that there's more than just iPhones out there which can't handle Flash well if at all.TToB said:So we don't have to wait for these companies to kowtow to Jobs's will.
Not for 3G alone, personally, but if it's got GPS, 16 Gig or more of storage *and* 3G, then I'd be interested. Though, I'd be afraid to see the price...neptunes said:I wonder if the new 3G model(s)? will cause a lot of the older models to pop up on eBay

Questions:
- WTF is the point of including bluetooth if you can't connect it to another phone?
- Has anyone tried IzyMail for hotmail on the iphone?
- What USEFUL apps do i need to get?

Phoenix said:Apple has screwed the pooch and in doing so killed off all development on native iPhone applications. Many folks today are now sitting with a PSOD (pink screen of death) on their iPhone because Apple in their infinite wisdom put on an expiration date for the developer certificate but did think that perhaps they should release new certs or a firmware update yesterday since the certs expired at 12:01AM this morning.
Whomever is running their beta program really should be fired. This isn't the first major screw up.
kaching said:All they have to do is issue a new certificate, right?
TUAW says you can restore down to a previous version of firmware in the meantime.
But, yeah, this is why I've not certified my iPhone for testing yet. I'll wait till things stabilize and use the emulator in the meantime.

koam said:My friend is having a problem with her iphone. The power button isn't working. It's not stuck of anything but when you press it, the phone won't lock and when you hold it the phone won't reset. The button doesn't feel broken though.
So now, she's scared that if her battery ever runs out, her phone won't be able to restart. Does anyone have any advice? The phone is unlocked (i unlocked mine and hers last week, they're new) and i live in canada so returning it to the apple store isn't exactly a solution.
DeathNote said:2. is there ever going to be an iphone sdk for windows?
infiniteloop said:Not unless they port xcode to Windows...which I don't see them doing. I don't see what Apple would gain from a Windows version.
Kung Fu Jedi said:No. And why would you want one? You have a limited number of characters on text messages. Anything beyond 160 characters and it starts breaking it into multiple texts. If someone I knew sent me a text with a sig, I'd punch 'em in the nose.
